I mean, I knew it was bad, but not THAT bad? I made a post on another kpop sub about a groups viewcount that stood out to me because I was curious. I could have researched it on my own, but that's not what I'm on reddit for. I'm here, usually, for community and interaction, so I thought, a simple casual post can't hurt. I'll get to talk about this since no one in my real life actually cares about kpop at all. Cool, innocent, right?

Apparently not.

Apparently me not being a diehard company stan that knows every single marketing strategy out there is me acting in bad faith and wanting to diss a group. Of making a backhanded post just cause I said I liked the members of said group, but didn't stan the group for my own reasons and then DARED TO QUESTION their marketing strategies. Devilish, I know. Definitely all part of my "agenda to make the group look bad to the GP and seem like they don't have fans".

I am not new to liking kpop groups, but i have never gone deeper than listening to the songs they put out and buying albums until recently.

A simple question turned into a whole slew of attacks, a post made about my post, people sending me offensive and crazy dm's... what the f, you guys?

Steering clear of that fandom fr, those kids are something else

Like, 36M views in 3 days and a performance video that surpassed 5.5M in 18 hours? I think the girls are so amazing, and that the things they release don't always reflect their talent and potential, and i just don't stan cause i don't vibe with the sexualization of a group that still has 2 minors(and was sexualized from debut with many more minors) but that is neither here nor there. Just clarifying this is not a hate post.

But i don't see their popularity reflecting their numbers. And today i received 2 ads for Sugar Honey Ice Tea, so that got me wondering if all the views are being paid for.

Like Aespa's Lemonade im 12 days hasn't reached the number of views BM has in 3. A new collab of THREE GG's has less than a performance video of S.H.I.T. in the same amount of hours.

I don't want to simply compare different artists, but i don't see their popularity outside of views. They have almost the same amount of comments in their 36M views MV as other groups with 6 times less views.

Trabalhi com a Meli, Amazon, magalu.. e faço um dinheirinho bom com isso e to querendo elevar o meu negócio. Comecei um grupo do whatsapp e ele já lotou, estou no segundo e esta quase lotando também! Mas a minha forma de encher esse grupo de promoções é muito trabalhosa e consome muito tempo. Uso o divulgador inteligente mas queria algo mais automatico.

Vejo nos outros grupos de promoção que eu participo que todo mundo tem um disparador programado e um cta personalizado pra cada produto, mas é impossivel que eles façam isso individualmente. Tbm vejo fotos de IA bonitinhas que nao sao as que a minha ferramente pega do anuncio, mas tbm acho dificil isso ser feito a cada vez que a pessoa vai postar. Até agora não consegui descobrir a ferramenta.

Alguém tem alguma ideia ou recomendação?
