Do other gay guys feel this way too?

I’m 22 and from Slovakia and sometimes I genuinely feel like I’ll never experience real love. Dating here feels difficult as a gay guy cuz many people are still afraid to be open and most people on apps seem to only want hookups nothing serious. I’ve always wanted a genuine relationship and I’m not interested in being used for sex or games. I know I’m still young, but lately I’ve been hopeless romantic guy about ever finding someone who actually wants you for who you are. For other gay guys from smaller or conservative countries: where did you actually meet someone serious?

I'm honestly getting tired of how so many amazing shows start off incredible, build a huge fanbase, and then somewhere along the way, the people who truly gave them their magic seem to step away. For example, Leigh Janiak with Stranger Things, Kevin Williamson with The Vampire Diaries, and Petra Collins with Euphoria. I know that the Duffer Brothers, Julie Plec, and Sam Levinson were always the main creators and were deeply involved in directing and producing. I'm not denying that at all. What I mean is that these other creatives brought something unique. They added their own vision, style, and soul to these shows. They helped shape the atmosphere and emotional impact that made so many people fall in love with them in the first place. And then, whether because of creative differences, scheduling, or other reasons, they became less involved or moved on entirely. Sometimes, you can really feel that shift, especially in later seasons. The storytelling changes, plot holes start appearing, and it just doesn't hit the same anymore. That's just my opinion, of course. No hate toward anyone involved I still appreciate all of them and what they created. I'm just curious: does anyone else feel the same way?
