Someone at Usborne books must be getting royalties for using the word "squashy"
My MIL got us a stack of these from the thrift store and I have thoughts.
Someone must be getting a kickback because does anyone actually use the word squashy in real life?
My other theory is someone misspelled the word "squishy" and then just kept going with it to cover up their mistake.
The only reason a dinosaur's body would be squashy is if it is decomposing. So perhaps historically accurate, but probably not what they're going for.
What could a snowman's nose possibly be made of that is squashy?
I admittedly just squashed my dog's nose (for science) and it did squash, so I guess a dog's nose can be squashy (photo evidence at the end)
