Cube Adventure - The lost Shards (DEMO 2 OUT!)

Hi! I’m working on Cube Adventure - The Lost Shards, a 2D platformer inspired by Kirby.

I just released Demo 2, and the biggest new feature is a Level Creator. You can create your own levels, publish them, and play community levels with other players in co-op up to 4 players.

This demo also includes:

  • 3 save files and a new main menu
  • Config menu with keybindings, gamepad buttons, audio, visuals, gameplay and mobile settings
  • Android/mobile support
  • Better optimization after rewriting the game in Godot

I’d really appreciate feedback about the controls, difficulty, level creator and Android performance.

Hi Redditors

If you see post of me in the past you will know that i was making a 2D platformer called Cube Adventure 2D, well i finally completed the DEMO 2 with NEW and Exiting Content to you to see, it includes:

  • New Level Creator: Now you are able to make levels and publish it to the world, what ideas can you come to?
  • New Coop mode: You can play published levels on Coop with your friends or strangers!,  up to 4 players
  • New menu: The game has an official menu and separation of your progress in 3 save files, can you obtain 100%?
  • New Sound Test: Now you can hear all the Sound effects or Music that you hear trough the game, you can only see tracks that you already heared in game before
  • New Config menu: Here you can tweak varius settings like Keybindings, Gamepad buttons, Audio, Visual tweaks Gameplay, and Mobile
  • Support for Mobile: you can now play the game on your smartphone

Optimization in general and the game was rewritten for a new engine, godot, so is more stable for this type of games and well i hope you enjoy this demo 2 and if its posiblle give feedback about it!
