Lowering hba1c too fast

Hi I think I have heard that lowering hba1c too quick can cause retinopathy is this true. Since starting ozempic my blood range has changed for the good but now I am worried this could cause more problems now its nothing drastic but its 30% increase in range, I was around 14.7 average glucose now 9.8

Does it make more sense to decrease lantus or decrease novarapid

Trying to get a balance due to being on ozempic my sugars are great but having alot of lows, my insulin needs have changed dramatically not needing as much. In your own experience of insulin in general would you decrease lantus and give more fast or keep lantus the same as I was and just inject less fast per meal. Would the fast be easier to correct rather than the 24 hours backround

Ozempic and type 1

Is anyone taking Ozempic or something simular, I have been on 0.25 4 weeks which has been amazing but I just upped the dose to 0.5 and I am having constant hypos just wondering how to manage it, my need for insulin has really halved. I badly want to stay on this because the positive impact on my sugar is really amazing but I am trying to navigate the lows now any info or tips would be appreciated

Finished my 4th 0.25 last week moving to 0.5 tomorrow. There is still medicine in the pen which people said I can still take before throwing the pen out. I have 5mm needles for insulin, how many 0.5 are in the old pen I have and should I just that x2 of the old pen at 0.5
