Chair that's flexible/dynamic like the Knoll Generation but better seat? Tried Leap V2 recently and felt overly forced.

Hey everybody! I'm pretty new to the office chair space, but aware of most options out there. I've been using a Knoll Generation for almost two years that I got for a really good deal on FB Marketplace, but lately I find my butt's been a bit sore after long days at the office (9+ hours). I tend to shift around and lean/slouch, and besides the seat the Generation is great for that! Part of the other reason I'm looking to replace is that the cylinder is failing as well, and a new one is $80 which is about 60% of what I paid for the chair and I'm not totally sold haha.

Recently out of curiousity I got a good deal for a Leap V2 (also on marketplace), but I find I don't like it nearly as much as I thought I would. It's too "forced" and any position besides upright doesn't feel great. And it runs pretty hot. I used it for two weeks to adjust and it really doesn't feel much better, unfortunately.

So in my quest for chairs, is there something like the Generation that I can shift around in but is slightly more plush in the seat? I think a Haworth Fern could be one to look for but not sure if there are any other obvious chairs I'm missing. I've also sat in a lot of chairs before (Aeron, Embody, Gesture, etc.) and used a HON Ignition at my last job, but its a big difference sitting for 30 seconds at the store/as a trial vs actually using them at work haha. Also for reference, I'm 5'11" and got a stocky build at 230 lbs. Thanks!

Insole Sizing for Arch Length Bigger Than Boot Size

I've always had a problem with ball of foot/forward arch pain when snowboarding, and in the past that was somewhat helped from having boots that matched my street size that are a bit big or from having clapped out rentals that flexed well. Now that I've been in properly-sized boots that are also stiffer my pain has come back with a vengeance over the last season. I've been looking at insoles, but have a question about sizing.

My boots are Men's US Size 11, but I have an arch length on both feet closer to Size 12 according to the Brannock Device. This is partially confirmed because of the Size 11 inserts I've tried so far (or inserts with size 11 at the high end of the range) the arch has felt too far back. I also have low arches. Would there be a problem with buying the larger size insole and just trimming it to fit? I'm sure its totally fine, but just wanted to see if anyone else did that here. Thanks!
