Hi guys, I received an offer from a uni and firmed it. I later realised one of their requirement was GCSE bio which I have not done (although I did mention all my IGCSE subjects on ucas), how did I get the offer and will I be rejected after submitting my qualifications 💀
Hi guys, ive always heard that consultants (such as ortho) earn 2-3x as much in AUS compared to the UK. I started researching into this and unless I am wrong, base pay for a newly qualified consultant is $200k AUD (~£112,000) (according to the L-18 classification) and they CANNOT work private due to the 10-year moratorium rule for IMGs. Orthos cannot even do private work in DSW areas (where some specialities can) as there isn't a national shortage for them compared to something like cardiology
My question is then, purely for financial reasons, is the move to AUS after completing training even worth it?
