I met the rudest interviewer to date
Yesterday I met the rudest recruiter person I've had the dubious honor of meeting. The job is an administrative corperate role in a Jeans retailer that orders from China and imports it all to retail outlets all over the globe. My background is in an administrative role for a global computer hardware retail chain. Its very similar, inventory, sales etc.
The woman was so extremely condescending it was unbelieveable it seems she was trying to put me down no matter what. What absolutely drove me crazy was she saying that I am underqualified because computers aren't as complex like clothing and you got models,seasons,sizes,colors etc. to consider. As if computer hardware is something generic...
I was absolutely shocked and it took considerable effort not to ask her if shes insane. I did manage to keep my composure and answer professionally but holy fucking shit these recruiters are legitimately insane. You are selling fast fashion garbage stop smelling your own farts and making it out like you're curing cancer.
EDIT: It feels,like the real life version of that Anne Hathaway recruiter meme. but she decided to double down on the abuse. I hope its just some twisted test to see how I handle crazy people and push back/defend myself rather than her genuine opinion but if it is that one twistsd test.
