Before vs what I got vs what I wanted (is it still achievable)

2016 I did septoplasty that removed too much cartilage and I lacked support. 2026 June I had revision rhinoplasty with rib grafts to correct the second deviation and place support.

The nose I wanted is in the far right and my current nose is shortened, still with a hump and too elevated.

Are the results I wanted still achievable?

Circular nose ?

I am 2 months post surgery

My request to my surgeon was:

  1. shave my hump
But he didn’t the hump is still visible

  2. give me a slight lift to the droopy tip
He gave me a full lift of 110 degrees

I didn’t ask to de project or shorten my nose length but that was done anyway and skin was visibly cut off.

My nose went from having a defined pointy tip to a circular non defined tip.

Idk how much is swelling and if the definition would be pointy or not? I hate the circular look and the rotation is a lot for me..

Anyone had this ?

What touch up can I have?

Haven’t been happy with my results since castoff

elevation is too high for my liking (i wanted neutral) and the hump was never shaved off (looks the same to me)

What touch up or revision can I do to fix these two things? Are they open or close or in office procedure ?

I also don’t like the feel of my very tough tip (rib grafts used)

If anyone was in my situation how was this fixed please?
I will have to fly to my surgeon to see him again.

Thanks

Boxy nose concern (is it in my head?)

Hi all. The 2 photos show 1) before and 2) after.
i had a tip lift that I regret because the space between my lips and mouth but now it’s also very BOXY looking.

For context I have thick skin also am 2 months post ops.

My surgeon didn’t take any table photos but how can I tell if it’s a structural issue or if it’s just healing ?

I haven’t liked my results since the cast off, too upturned and too projected and the hump wasn’t shaved well enough because it’s still there and prominent

Also my nostrils are unsymmetrical I know I had fibrosis from an infection at the wound site at 2 weeks. Idk how to reduce this.

Rib grafts were used but not sure which ones.

Can anyone share similar looking results ? Is this normal ?

Spiralling - rib grafts regret

Photos: After and before

ENT doctor and the surgeon is refusing to talk to me about any shape or shape adjustments until 1 year mark (as I have thick skin)

For context I had septal removal 10 years ago which left me with a droopy tip and hump

I did a rhinoplasty 6 weeks ago, to remove the hump and have a slight slope + lift the droopy tip (rib grafts were used but I don’t know which ones)

I absolutely hate how rotated my nose is. I was after lifting my droopy tip with a natural degree but this seems excessive for me and looks very weird from the side it’s not giving my face any harmony.

The surgeon didn’t take any table photos so I have nothing to look forward to

Also I have a hump that feels very bony and all doctors are saying we don’t want to talk about shape till after. I thought there is a in office procedure that can scrape callus if that’s the case? Why won’t they assess me?

I don’t know if my tip will drop because I’m readying rib grafts usually never drop so this is causing me to spiral daily

What are my options? And will my tip drop a little atleast? I can’t take looking at the mirror.

Is this bridge swelling consistent with osteotomies (broken and repositioned nasal bones), hump reduction

I feel like my nose got bigger and I can’t seem to find hope

there is no slope at all I feel botched. Has anyone had this in their journey then had the slope appear ?

Im 5 weeks post op.

Looking for revision rhinoplasty in Middle East / turkey

I messaged two well seasoned surgeons in Jordan but they won’t operate on my case. My case is a little complex, this would be my third surgery:

Surgery 1: septoplasty (without any beautification)
Over 10 years : the septoplasty left me with a drooping tip and a new hump that wasn’t present before

Surgery 2: rhinoplasty to lift the tip a little bit (only the droop and I wanted something natural) and shaving my hump - doctor used rib harvest and put sturt grafts.

The result: overturned tip, (reconstructed my whole tip shape) and the hump isn’t even shaved well it came back.

I am looking for someone willing to derotate, back to a neutral level and give me a medium slope. I am not willing to do rib graft again so I need a doctor willing to work with what’s in there… I may consider ear graft if needed.

I’m planning to do this surgery summer of 2027 so any leads or recommendations will help

Nasal hump still showing after surgery

How can I tell this is swelling or the actual structure? I am 1 month post op.

I soecifically asked for the hump to be removed and shaved down.

The first 2 photos after surgery and 3rd photo is my original nose

it also feels my nose with the lift got bigger and shorter I can’t explain it…

At what stage should I be worried the hump has not resolved?

De-lifting tip or columellar strut graft removal (revision) or

Has anyone had revision rhinoplasty where they de-elevated the tip? Specifically if the columellar strut graft was used (ribs).

I don’t like how my nose shortened, and really hate the degree my tip is lifted at, and I can’t come to terms with it and I completely lost my perfectly harmonious front view (now I have a huge gap between my lips and nose) and my nostrils are now too exposed. I also feel like I lost my uniqueness and character.

from the side it’s also very elevated degree, ideally wanted my tip to come down to the same level as before which is about where I marked in red

Wondering if anyone had their tip lift removed and if they were happy with the outcome?

First photo is before which I’m trying to achieve again and second and third photo is after.

side profile projection worries

Hi everyone

I am 3 weeks post op and worried that my side profile is very harsh for my face and bigger than my original nose

My before nose was much softer and despite it having a hump it was more suiting my face while post op: he shaved down the hump but also gave me a tip lift using rib grafts because I had no support before (I had septal removal 10 years ago without beautification)

I am not seeing any slope and I asked him he said after it settles you would see a slight slope but honestly I’m touching my bridge and it’s already very body through out so I’m worried I will have this shape forever now.

Somehow I feel like my nose got bigger from the side and I’m really worried.
