Orange with matte PPF is killer.

Took the body shop two attempts (first application was done incorrectly and peeled horribly) but we got there in the end.

PPF on the front and sides, following the crease in the doors - the glossy paint contrasts the matte PPF with a 👨‍🍳 💋

Finally got around to watching Once Were Warriors last night

for some reason I thought it was gonna be a feel-good coming of age film, like Shrek…

…it was not.

Appreciate all the recommendations - tonight we watched Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and What We Do in the Shadows.

Tomorrow going to give Utu a go, then Meet The Feebles / Out Of The Blue.

Someone posted a link to the shop page for this a couple minutes ago but deleted their thread. I managed to snag the screenshots before it vanished and ran them through a translator.

This is NOT a free OTA software update, rather a physical, paid N Performance Parts hardware module (a sound ECU pack) that you have to purchase and physically install into the car.

New Passport not reading on DPS gate? Here’s a fix!

Not sure if it’s all new passports (Type PP) or just NZ - but twice now I’ve had trouble getting through the eGate - the passport just wouldn’t scan.

First time, an airport official took us and manually processed us, but the second time a lady showed us a trick to make them scan.

DONT try to make the bio page “flatter” on the scan surface, you have to “pinch” the passport backwards into a V shape (with the point in the air), so that the bio page is coming away from the glass at around a 20-30 degree angle.

There should be able 1-2cm gap between the edge of your passport and the front edge if the scanner

Might take a couple attempts, but you’ll get there 🫡
