I like character lenses that are sharp wide open. Not interested in APO style lens. I'm OK with vignette, field curvature, funky bokeh as long as the center is sharp and bright. Want compact also otherwise I would steer towards the Thypoch 35 which seems to fit the bill, but too long.

For example, I actually like how the Brightin Star 28 renders. It's sharp in the middle and super funky everywhere else.

For those that have experience, which one would you recommend?

I actually shoot on Zf, but asking the m-mount gurus.
