Apartment bedroom privacy help

I live in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment, and physically cannot have my bedroom door closed for most of the day in the summer (90+ degree days on the 3rd floor of the building, and we get the afternoon/evening sun) due to our only AC unit being in the living room. As of right now we both have our bedroom doors propped open with fans pointing in, HOWEVER with the way my door opens, I cannot sit on my bed and lounge privately unless the door is fully closed (the other bedroom does not have this problem, with 90% of the room hidden if the door is only about 1/2 closed). I would like to have the ability for privacy, but having my headboard against the wall with the entry door feels wrong to me somehow. Bed does not fit between bathroom and closet doors, and the wall with the window also has the only in room heating system along the length of that wall, which I cannot block due to living somewhere where it regularly gets to below zero degrees (farhenheit) for multiple weeks/months at a time in the winter. I have a US Full size bed for context on the bed/room sizing, with 2 bedside tables, the desk opposite my bed, and the 2 other things depicted are 2 of those cube organizers, one being 2x3 and the other 3x3, with 3x3 being used as my dresser for folded clothes and the other is a bookshelf.

Please help me, is there any way to position my bed that allows for the temperature to be reasonable in both the extreme summer and winter temperatures, while allowing for privacy in my bedroom in the summer?
