Hello! I’ve been diagnosed with ibs-d. Im having a loose stools but not completely diarrhea. My gastro prescribed a Rifaximin and Amitriptyline. My stool seems to improve a bit. it’s now sinking and darker, compared when im not taking the meds. Now, i incorporate psyllium fiber in my diet. 1 tablespoon with water in a day. Does anyone here really improve by using/taking psyllium fiber daily?

Has anyone here experience loose stool but not some kind of diarrhea? it is soft and formed but when it touches the toilet water, it disperse immediately. Im experiencing this for 9 days now. What i also experience is there’s a dull pain on my left and right stomach near the belly button. It’s alternating. I can say that it is not very painful. It’s like a trapped gas. I had my colonoscopy last aug 2024 and whole abdomen ultrasound on sept 2025, and also blood tests but all of these tests has normal result. Can this be caused by too much anxiety?? lately im so anxious about life and career. I can’t even have a restful sleep. I also love iced coffee with oatmilk. I don’t know what’s the culprit of this changes in my BM. Is it possible that you are not lactose/coffee intolerant then suddenly, a day came you become intolerant to these? Does stress and anxiety can really affect BM even i don’t change my diet? This loose stool added up to my anxieties
