Forgot online enrollment to host uni

Hi,

So a lot of issues i have recently found and i think it stems from missing my online enrollment.

tldr:

- applied to erasmas +. got approved

- was supposed to submit a language certificate but didn't, I didn't however did 2 years of spanish at my home uni and from what i can see they could have submitted confirmation of B1 spanish

- currently can access my host uni email account and have a uni number with them (also got acceptance certificate)

- Got my learning plan approved last monday, I needed this for online enrollment but i got the learning agreement after the last day to do online enrollment.

- international relations of the host uni recently (like 2 days ago) re-submitted my certificate of acceptance, i needed another to match my passport name

I don't know what to do? I've got an email schedualed to my home uni to discuss issues, but i don't know if ive possibly now lost my place. I don't want to get into it too much but my home uni (granted different department) are aware of a pretty serious dv situation i was facing at the time.

Has anyone else missed enrollment and if so how did you mend it if at all?

I think I'm going to lose my place

I have an active application with manchester bls and ive realised i have like several clerical issues.

  1. My acceptance letter has the right passport number but hyphenated my name
  2. I didn't realise my application form was missing my home address, I submitted evidence of address and all my documents have the same address
  3. I used the official start date of term from my uni and not the one on my acceptance letter - so is off by 7 days.

I generally don't know what to do. My placement is supposed to start on the 14th and I'm like 90% sure I'm going to get a rejection at the moment. I can't tell if its better to withdraw and reapply now in hopes I get everything back on time for a possible early arrival (granted that depends on getting what's already submitted back timely). Or leave my current application as is and pray the officer allows me through as everything else is perfect, or I get asked for clarification? I've heard that can happen?

If anyone has any advise please share!!

Emailing Manchester Spanish Visa Department directly

Hi,

I made a post the other day and after some more research I was wondering if this was worth doing. I submitted my visa application on Monday, given I have digital copies of everything I re went through it again, but I've found some clerical issues - everything else is consistent and fine, all passport numbers match, finances add up, acro and medical certificate translated/legalised etc. This is largely a couple of formatting issues regarding my acceptance letter to study.

I reached out the BLS manchester to see if this could be rectified but they have said they can't do anything. Recently i have found the email address cog.manchester.vis@maec.es and was wondering if it was worth sending and email explaining with updated documents? From what I have understood this is a contact email to the place my application would have been sent for processing, or at least have more of an ability to fix things.

*I'm applying for a long term study visa for a whole academic year in Spain

Inconsistant naming and visa application

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could tell me how concerned i should be or if there is anything i can do. I have recently submitted my visa application via bls Manchester UK, once i got home and checked over my documents again i realised some issues.

To start with i should say the names are all the same, however they don't all match my passport. There are two documents with issues: firstly being my acceptance letter from the university I plan to study at, they have hyphenated what shows on my passport as like a second part of my first name to my second name. so the format on my passport is

first name: x y, second name z.

but the acceptance letter says:

first name: x, second name y-z.

Additionally my GHIC has moved y to be in my first name so it reads

first name: x, second name: y z

I get this is a tiny thing but I've never been through this process before and I'm not sure how its going to be seen or if it will make my visa get rejected. If anyone has any experience or thoughts on if this could go wrong/ what i could do could you please lmk

When will my sfe come in (year abroad)

Hi,

Just wondering if any 4th years or alumni know when sfe should come in for students who go on a year abroad? Sfe says first payment is due in just over a week from now, and besides it being a stupidly early payment date compared to all my previous, I realised I have on idea when I'll actually get the payment?

I recently did the mynottingham online registration for next year coz they sent out an email about it, but do i need to do anything else?

liveness check is driving me insane

Hi so i need some advice.

I have been trying for at this point hours to pass the liveness check. I have tried 3 different devices (laptop, phone and old phone), 2 different Wifis - two different operating systems and 4 search engines. I can not pass this check... except of one time. I got to the payment stage and then the site crashed, I got a order number but my card was not charged. I was prevented from starting a new appointment for about 3-4 hours with the application in limbo.

I'm applying for a long-term student visa bls manchester and i need to really get to this appointment on Monday but at this point I'm convinced this will never happen because I can't book the appointment.

Does anyone have any advice before I'm driven insane.
