Male compression garment advice

Hey guys,
I’m looking specifically for advice from other men about compression garments.

My physio wants me wearing compression from ankle up to the lower abdomen. I’ve tried medical-grade full garments, but honestly I’m struggling with them. They’re incredibly hot, bunch behind the knees, make me itchy, and are just generally uncomfortable to wear all day. I also feel like male anatomy isn’t exactly well accounted for in a lot of these designs and I find I’m ’correcting’ my junk constantly and doing the very obvious sidestepping to rearrange. I’ve tried jocks, thongs, seamless briefs, commando, dance belts and I’m losing my mind

They’re happy for me to use sports compression instead, so I’m trying to figure out a setup that’s actually wearable long term. I already have good calf compression sleeves, but I’m looking for something for the thighs/lower abdomen too. Maybe cycling bibs, compression shorts, sports tights, etc.

What do other men here use? Any brands, layering setups, or comfort tips that made compression more tolerable, especially in warmer weather? I have to wear them all day and the full leg ones are making it unbearable and I look like a creep

Wha are libraries like where you live?

I’ve lived in London for 13 years and I’ve found council libraries here have a completely different vibe from the library in my hometown (northern, about 90k population, impoverished town). That library was large, well-stocked and usually almost silent.

In London, I find libraries so loud. There are children’s events, kids screaming, teenagers hanging around, and general noise even in adult quiet study areas and it’s all tolerated. Even people playing music. I understand libraries are now more of a community hub, which is a good thing for the local area, but it does make them a bit stressful if you need somewhere quiet to read or study.

The actual book selection in some London council libraries is limited compared with what I expected which is strange for me because I’d expect a much grander supply than my small town. I tried to find books on Biology for studying and it was really poorly stocked and mainly just Biology for Dummies etc.

I was wondering if this is now a common thing and I’m just remembering different days
