So about two Halloweens ago, when my boyfriend and I were still in the talking stage and not officially dating yet, he posted a picture on his Snapchat story of a girl he used to talk to wearing his hat. For context, his brother had gotten him this hat for his birthday a long time ago.

Fast forward to now, we’ve been dating for a while and I’m helping him decorate his room. He wants to hang that hat up on his wall as part of the decor. I told him that seeing it displayed is going to annoy me because I immediately associate it with that girl and the picture he posted of her wearing it. I asked him not to put it up, but he refuses because to him it’s his hat, his brother gave it to him, and it has nothing to do with her.

AITA for being mad that he still wants to hang it up even though he knows it bothers me?

I finished my round two experience tire interview on Friday and a lot of people have been saying that they typically hear back the day of their interview or the Monday. Is this just typically only for interns and associates or also for experience hired?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years, and to preface this story I never really spam text him the way I was. This was really out of character for me which is something to consider lol.

On Saturday night, I got way too high. I've smoked before, but this time I had a really bad reaction and was genuinely freaking out so I texted my boyfriend saying I needed him. He said I love you but I'm napping so I started spiraling and said i feel like you're mad at me because I texted you please help me and you read my messages of me freaking out, and then you went to sleep."

He then asked if I wanted to call. We got on the phone, but it was super glitchy, so we barely talked before the call ended. I completely forgot to text him that my phone had died. A few minutes later, my friends and I went downstairs for about five minutes. When we came back upstairs, he called again. But my friends and I started laughing really hard at something one of my friends did. Apparently, my boyfriend thought we were laughing at him. Then my phone died again before I could explain anything and I forgot to text him back even after it charged which is MB.

After that, he texted me saying he couldn't believe I was laughing at him, that the ice is thin under me and that I was just creating drama, basically for attention, and didn't actually need him.

At that point, I completely panicked because I thought he was genuinely angry with me. I explained that we were laughing at my friend, not him, and then spent the next three hours apologizing and asking him to please respond because my anxiety was getting worse. The only thing said was I'll talk to you tomorrow. Don't worry.

I understand that I should have explained why the calls ended, and I take responsibility for that. But what really hurt me was that he knew I was having a terrible high and was extremely anxious, yet he still chose not to reassure me or have a conversation until the next day. Also panic attacks are so triggering for me and it really hurts me that he let that happen to me. He still thinks his reaction was justified because, from his perspective, I ignored him for about 10 minutes and then laughed before hanging up.
