My old chair had the beef so I grabbed a new one

Been using HM chairs for decades in corporate and always been happy

Was tough deciding between this and the Aeron but I went all in with the G-Shock Blue Embody G

My back is loving me so much more now

Looking for advice.

Trying to decide which chair to get. My current mesh one has had the beef and is finally no longer long sit comfortable.

Choices I am eyeing

  1. Fractal Design Refine Gaming - 5yr warranty
  2. Herman Miller - Embody Gaming Chair , Vantum, or AERON (Working for the govt i have never been unhappy with a HM chair, only with the price. But you get what you pay for. ) 10 yr warrantys

I did look at Secret Labs (read majority that they are stiff and not comfortable, but they win with the designs)

Other recommendations?

I work remote from home and game. So I spend a lot of my day in the chair. I want long term comfort.

I asked for some feedback and did some of my own testing. Thanks for all the inputs. Build is final for now but i did some testing anyway because I could afford it.

Storage prices being what they are I kept my drives I was using minus a new main boot drive of 2TB. I seriously considered cannibalizing my 2 PS5's for their EVO 980 Pro M2's Gen4s i had put in each for additional game storage.

Final build:

- MOBO: B650E ASUS White Max Gaming

- CPU: 9800x3D

- RAM: Crucial Pro 6400 DDR5 (64 GB using 4 sticks/ dropped to 2 for 32GB)

Note: MOBO was stable and recognized all 64GB in non EXPO profile. Stable at 3200, if I wanted to do EXPO it was best to drop to 2 sticks and the 6400 has been rock solid through prime95 testing and gaming so far.

- GPU initially ASUS Dual 9060XT upped to 9070XT XFX Quicksilver (PCI E 5.0 slot)

- SSD 1 - Crucial P310 2TB (PCI E 5 m2 slot)

- SSD 2 - 4

a. PNY 1311 960GB SSD (Steam Drive 1) 1TB

b. PNY 1311 960GB SSD (Steam Drive 2) 1TB

c. Samsung 860 EVO SSD (Music/Pictures/Documents) 2 TB.

PSU: ASUS Prime 850W Gold White

CPU Cooler: Noctua DH15 - G2

Additional fans:

Noctua AX12/14 for case needs and PCI Slot Bracket under GPU/Facia/Roof/Entry.

Case: Fractal North mATX Tower

Monitor: Dell S3425DW (Selected for both gaming and productivity as work monitor with great screen management software)

Sound: Kept my Bose Companion 5 Satellite system for now.
