hi i’m looking to grow my watch list and watch them periodically! here are some shows i enjoy:

popular shows:
breaking bad + bcs + pluribus, game of thrones + hod + akoask, severance, beef, shameless, orange is the new black, lost, the good place, black mirror, daredevil/punisher, white lotus, the boys

teen shows:
glee, derry girls, the 100, vampire diaries/the originals, pen15, yellowjackets

cartoon/anime shows:
cowboy bebop, bojack horseman, adventure time, midnight gospel, serial experiments lain, madoka magica, mob psycho 100, over the garden wall, nana, banana fish

dislike/dropped:
euphoria, the pitt, the summer i turned pretty, heated rivalry, umbrella academy, hells paradise, mr robot, the bear

hi i’m a huge fan of banana fish where the main plot is intense and has a side plot of romance. looking for a recommendations similar to this but yuri!

i’ve been reading a few different types of manga but haven’t branched out of the typical school girl crush genre just yet

i enjoy deeply emotional and intense driven stories and was wondering if there was something like that? oh and if it’s political — even better !

- romance can be the main focus, but needs a compelling story
- can be explicit, but not looking for pure smut
- preferably no incest/assault unless it serves a deeper theme
