Never even heard the word perimenopause until a few years ago.

I developed tinnitus 2 years ago. Googled it and found out it's a symptom of perimenopause. Expected hot flashes -- not all this other stuff. Now I see commercials on a daily basis about peri/meno.

Which member of the "27 club" do you miss the most?

All were sooo phenomenal. But Kurt Cobain was amazing. He/Nirvana ushered in a whole new genre of music. A breath of fresh air. RIP. Real music/feelings -- not feel-good crap. Pity only Eddie Vedder is left of the grunge frontmen. Chris Cornell -- another trailblazer.

Your first album/cd/cassette?

Rick Springfield. Working Class Dog. One for the "oldsters!" :) My first concert, as well. He's the hottest 73 yr old I've seen! lol Later on, loved Straight Outta Compton. Great album/movie. Tastes vary through the years!

Before peri hit at 46 --I'm now 53 -- Every month I knew when I was ovulating because I felt the twinge of the egg releasing. Then felt "full" down there for a few days. Then right after ovulating I had sore boobs for the 2 weeks before period. Like clockwork. Now in peri, that never happens. None of it. I get my period or I don't. Thoughts/insight? Thank you.

That when I wake up the next day, I will feel better. Started peri at 46 -- now 53. Seven long, miserable years. Been on HRT almost 3 months. No improvement -- sometimes feel worse. Is this it? It has to get better than this....

Garbage Pail Kid cards -- Cabbage Patch dolls --Raggedy Ann/Andy -- Simon -- Rubik's cube --GI Joe -- Barbies. I always wanted the Barbie dream house. My father got me a handmade wooden one. Big, shingled, on wheels. I was disappointed -- I wanted Barbie's, as my friend had one. Looking back the dream house was a cheap piece of crap! I still have the wooden one. I'm in my 50s.

Remember the tv's with dials and no remote? You had to attach an antenna and turn it from side to side to tune in around seven channels to watch a grainy, fuzzy picture?! The horror! lol Now, so many crystal clear channels -- even right in your hand. The rotary-dialed phones?

I'll never forget it. I was in my car on my way to a store when the radio announced that she was in a crash and had a broken arm and concussion -- and Dodi was dead. I thought she'd be OK. Cut to watching "Hercules-- the Legendary Journeys" (I remember exactly what I was watching) around midnight when the news broke in that she had died. I didn't believe it until I got up early in the morning to watch her funeral -- I live in Northeast, USA. It became reality when the gates opened and the horse-drawn gun carriage carrying her coffin emerged. I remember gasping. The people weeping and wailing in the street
