Hi, Im on my second reoccurrence, this time I had strep and a UTI that did me in. How much fun. Now I wear a mask in public and around my friends all of the time, and was wondering if anyone else did this to avoid the risk of strep? I am so scared of getting strep again now, that I can’t ever imagine just chilling in public no mask. I am a teacher too, and I hate wearing this damn thing. Does anyone else do this or how do you guys feel about the strep risk?

Hi all. Im very young, too young to be getting c diff, but basically Im trapped in a cycle of chronic UTIs and getting c diff from antibiotics. I tried extremely hard not to relapse. I did anyway. I am going to get an fmt, but infectious disease doc says it’s not going to do much if I keep taking antibiotics afterwards. I also apparently have strep now too. Just had to pay 900$ for half of my Fidaxomicin pills. This is not sustainable. My body is going to get older and weaker each time I get c diff. I basically have accepted i have another good 5 years left if that . On my last round of c diff, I almost died. Anyone else cursed by this in this way?

It’s such a weird feeling. Knowing Im going to die from shitting my brains out. It’s almost comical.

Am I cooked guys? I’ve had c diff a year ago, took many antibiotics and never relapsed. Well I got a uti recently and needed rocephin and macrobid, Im on day 5 of macrobid (taking florastor and avoiding sugar) and my poop went from normal to bright brown, to piecy, and today it was fluffy and dark. I am so scared, I have two days left of this antibiotic. Should I take more florastor? What can I even do to prevent it

Hello! CUTI sufferer here. I take Methenamine to prevent utis, but haven’t tried having sex much yet. It’s been a long time and I’d like to. What condoms and lube do not give you guys UTIs? I feel like I’ve had success with Skyn condoms in the past. Trojans and any spermicide condom seem to be the worst. I recently tried having sex with condoms and lube and I already have that not right feeling in my nethers.

Sadly, the most uti safe option for me is no condom and no lube, but I don’t want to have unprotected sex + no lube results in a lot of pain for me cause I guess Im kinda dry.

Please let me know what brands have worked for you!! I want to enjoy sec like a normal person.
