this is prepping related. The current administration doesn't seem too fond of women and autistic ppl especially those who are dependent on meds to stay stable. I'm all those and they've been tying to ban depression meds and had said they wanted to put us in "work camps" or whatever since we're apparently drug addicts to them. I know it's extreme but this makes it feel like extreme eugenics towards ppl like me will be coming in the near future. I've looked at other countries and they all seem to be going through the same or at least similar phase which is extremely disturbing. I guess what I'm trying to say is I know every country is doing ts, I'm just wondering if I should seriously gtfo when i get the chance and find a country that isn't as bad. I'm sorry if none of this makes sense, I don't know how to explain it

I got a hp envy 16 about 3 yrs ago and recently had to reinstall windows 11. Apparently all of the drives I used to have are no longer supported as I can't get them off the site. Is this an error or did they actually just shut down the only major source for them?

Due to the current political climate, I was wondering. I know win11 has tpm and constant telemetry going on so could it notice something I searched or typed down and mark me as a "target" and report back to govt? Sorry if this sounds schizophrenic af, I'm afraid about being targeted in the future because of alternate political beliefs compared to the govt rn and don't understand it well enough

I decided after trying out the first artist pro 24 gen 1 to return it and wait for restock. I was looking at reviews for the pro 24 gen 2 and heard about issues with screen burn in/build issues and mostly drivers. rn I'm trying to avoid wacom mostly due to price and that I'll probably have to move to a unsupported OS like Linux in the future. To anyone who owns one of these, how common are these problems? How is the build quality? What's the experience like? Would you recommend?

This morning when I set it up it was working fine except the brush was laggy (this was clearly on krita's end) and pen sensitivity randomly going on and off. Recently, it wouldn't go back to its pen sensitivity and then immediately stopped reacting to pen or side buttons. It only reacts to menu buttons. I haven't dropped or harmed it at all. I uninstalled its driver and replaced it with an older one but no use. What's wrong with it? What should I do?

EDIT: I replugged the USB C and it sorta worked (no pressure sensitivity and the rotation buttons could only zoom one way) but then I replugged it in again and it went back to being un responsive🫠 the screen does wake up though when you touch it

Windows 11 home 25H2 had some driver issues that would not fix so I decided to reinstall it. Every time I go to windows 11, it gets stuck on a install loop specifically around 64%. I have a hp envy laptop 16-h1xxx

I have win11 home 25H2 and out of nowhere after starting my HP envy up, Microsoft basic display adapter wouldn't work causing my hdmi to not work anymore. turns out it's a code 10 but I have no idea what to do. in the properties device status it says "The driver trying to start is not the same as the driver for the POSTed display adapter." I've been booting other os on other old hard drives so maybe thats it? but it just happened out of the blue. how do i fix this?

Been playing with devuan and have noticed it won't play videos or sound. This isn't just the browser (Firefox and librewolf) but the whole system. Can anyone help?
