Should I get a mentorship program

Recently I've been doing a lot of door knocking for my window cleaning business, and it's been going well. I want to improve as quickly as possible and become the best salesperson I can be.
I'm a big believer that paying for the right education can be worth it. For example, I bought a program called Baselang for Spanish tutoring, and after a few months of consistent practice, my Spanish improved dramatically. Because of experiences like that, I'm open to investing money into learning if the return is there.
I've seen a lot of sales and door-knocking mentorships, coaching programs, and memberships, but I'm hesitant because I don't really know what they actually teach. If I'm spending a significant amount of money, I want more than just a few door-knocking scripts. I'm interested in learning about sales, communication, business growth, lead generation, mindset, customer service, and anything else that would help me build a better business.
For anyone who has purchased a sales or door-knocking mentorship:

Which program did you buy?

How much did it cost?

What specific skills or knowledge did you gain from it?

Did it actually improve your results?

Looking back, was it worth the investment?

If you were starting over today, would you buy it again?

I'd love to hear both positive and negative experiences before I decide whether investing in a mentorship is the right move.

What to replace with social media?

I deleted social media about a year ago, and my life has been a lot better ever since. But one thing I’ve noticed is that anytime I’m even a little bored, I automatically and almost unconsciously reach for my phone. Then once I’m holding it, I realize, “Oh shoot… there’s nothing here.” So I end up going into random apps just to get a little dopamine hit, scrolling through my photos, browsing Spotify, or tapping around for no real reason. At first I tried to solve it by deleting Spotify and doing a dopamine detox, but it didn’t really stick. Eventually it just went back to normal. Now I’m realizing that trying to eliminate the habit completely probably isn’t the answer. I think I need something to replace it with, something productive, but not mentally demanding. I already have flashcards I study sometimes, but if I’m not in the mood or don’t have the mental energy, I’m not going to do them. So I’m trying to find something low-effort but still worthwhile to reach for instead of my phone when I get bored.

Any tips on discipline?

Over time, what I’ve learned about consistency and discipline is that you need a strong reason behind what you’re doing, or you probably won’t stick with it. I remember trying to read consistently even though I hate reading. I did it because I thought it was “good for me,” but I quit after a week because that reason wasn’t strong enough to outweigh how much I disliked it. I’ve also learned it helps to have both a bigger goal and a daily minimum. For example, my goal with Spanish is two hours a day, but on days when I don’t have time or motivation, my non-negotiable minimum is one hour. That way I keep the habit alive even when I’m not at my best. I try not to skip entirely. Another thing I’ve noticed is that timing matters. I like doing things like Spanish and calisthenics in the morning because my willpower is much higher then. Later in the day it starts to wear down, so if I leave it for later there’s a much better chance I won’t do it.
I run my own business, and right now I’m trying to apply the same ideas to door knocking and make it something I can do consistently. I’m curious if there are any strategies you’d recommend for staying consistent with that.

Can someone please make my father wear a suit and have us all be wearing colors that don’t clash together

My dad always talks about how this is such a great photo, but he wishes he had been dressed nicer for it. He wasn’t expecting to take it, so he’s not wearing a suit, and he also always points out how all of our colors clash a bit. If anyone could edit it so our outfits/colors complement each other more, or even make us all coordinated in similar colors, and maybe put my dad in a suit, I’d seriously appreciate it. Happy to tip. I mainly just want to surprise him and see his reaction.

Please take me from the second photo and put it in the first picture and preferably take the tree out

Second photo is awesome but the tree ruins the photo, I was wondering if someone could please take me from the second photo and put it in the first photo and maybe remove the tree, that would be amazing, thank you!

Does anyone know any social skill tutors

Recently I’ve been trying to improve my social skills, and I got curious about something. I’ve been learning Spanish through a program where I speak with native speakers every day, and it’s helped a lot because I have someone correcting my mistakes, guiding me, and helping me improve naturally through conversation. That made me wonder if there’s something similar for social skills, like a program where you regularly talk with someone, they point out things you’re doing wrong in conversations, explain how to improve, and help you get better through consistent practice and feedback. If anyone knows of something like this, I’d really appreciate the recommendations.

What activities should I have at my party

I’m trying to plan my birthday party and I feel like every year it’s basically the same thing. Usually we play poker, Cards Against Humanity, manhunt, gel blasters, have a fire, eat, hang outside, etc. It’s still fun, but I want to switch it up this year and do something that’ll keep everyone entertained all night and make it more memorable. No drugs or alcohol, and it’s all guys. Any ideas?

How to handle stubborn clients

Is there anything specific you guys do to handle stubborn clients who say they want to schedule with you but keep pushing it off and saying things like “I’ll get back to you next week”? I understand that offering a discount and creating urgency can help, but at the same time, in most situations there’s not really a good reason for me to discount the job.
When I’m door knocking, I do have a legitimate reason sometimes, like saving on transportation because I’m already working nearby and can just swing over to another house down the road. But since my work hours are usually right after school, I normally don’t have enough time to fit two cleanings back-to-back anyway. So the only real discount idea I have isn’t very usable until summer when I have more free time.

Squeegee care advice

I’ve been using my squeegees for a while now without really replacing anything, but I’ve heard I probably should. Does anyone have a solid rule of thumb for squeegee care and maintenance?
For example:
How often should the rubber or channel be replaced?
Should I be cleaning out the channel before every job?
Is there anything specific I should be doing regularly to extend the life of my squeegees and avoid streaks?
