(OC) My concept for a Castform evolution (Please read body text for details)

Ability:

Castozone's Ability (Climactic) allows it to change forms just like Castform. It's in its Regular Weather Form whenever there is either no weather or Sandstorm on the field, Sunny Form whenever there is Harsh Sun on the field, Rainy Form whenever there is Rain on the field and Snowy Form whenever there is Snow on the field.

AND, It also boosts the BP of Moves of a Type depending on its current form by 30%. Regular Weather Form = Normal, Sunny Form = Fire, Rainy Form = Water, Snowy Form = Ice. This DOES mean that Fire-Type and Water-Type Moves have a +192,5% BP boost, but i think castform needs that

Signature Moves:

Castozone also has a Signature Move: Climate Change, which is a damaging single-target Move. When it is used, the Move randomly picks either Harsh Sun, Rain or Snow and then summons the weather picked, also changing Castozone's form. THEN, it attacks the target. Its BP is 90, Accuracy is 100%, PP is 5, its Typing depends on the weather summoned (and I do NOT need to clarify which Typing for each weather) and its Category depends on which attacking stat of the user is higher (Sp. Attack = Special, Attack = Physical)

Castform evolution concept

meet Castozone: my concept for a Castform evolution based on clouds and stuff idfk (its name originates from Castform and ozone layer, obviously)

Castozone has 4 forms (just like Castform): Regular Weather (the form that Castozone takes when there is either no weather on the field or a Sandstorm is on the field), Sunny Form (the form that Castozone takes when there is Harsh Sun or Extremely Harsh Sun on the field), Rainy Form (when there is Rain or Heavy Rain on the field) and Snowy Form (when there is Snow on the field)

Their Ability is the same as regular Castform (which allows them to change their form) except it now also powers up by 30%:

  1. Normal Type Moves during no weather or Sandstorm

  2. Fire Type Moves during Harsh Sun or Extremely Harsh Sun

  3. Water Type Moves during Rain or Heavy Rain

  4. Ice Type Moves during Snow

This part of its Ability allows Castozone to be able to deal serious damage, especially accounting for the boost the Fire and Water Type Moves get during their respective weather AND the STAB they would get

It was originally 50% but I realized that a Fire Type Move in Harsh Sun or Extremely Harsh Sun or a Water Type Move in Rain or Heavy Rain would then have a +237,5% BP boost which would be way too broken, so they instead have a +192,5% BP boost instead (tbh now I'm thinking the ability should've given a 20% BP boost instead). Although, with Tera, then the Fire and Water Type Moves have a 338,75% BP boost but that'd require you to USE your Tera, and it's on only one Type at once in the first place (so if your opponent is Flash Fire Heatran or a Gastrodon, you'd have to use a Move WITHOUT the insane BP boost), so it's not COMPLETELY broken.

So Castozone's Regular Weather Form is of a Normal/Fairy Typing and has an All-Rounder type base stat spread just like Castform, allowing them to still deal decent damage with the help of their Ability and STAB and to take some stray neutral hits.

Castozone's Sunny Form is of a Fire/Fairy Typing and has an actual prominent stat now, Attack, allowing them to use their Ability to deal huge damage. The only reason all of Castozone's typings have Fairy is just so that this form is of a previously unused Typung btw. While they are a little more bulky physically, they are also a little more frail on the special side.

Castozone's Rainy Form is of a Water/Fairy Typing and has a base stat spread that focuses on being a bulky Trick Room sweeper. Their Special Attack is the same as Sunny Form's Attack, so the Rainy Form can also use their Ability to deal massive damage. Their Speed isn't low enough to be GREAT for Trick Room, tho. That lowered Speed (and also abysmal Attack) also allows Castozone's Rainy Form to have the best bulk out of its forms. This Form is probably the best one during right circumstances.

Castozone's Snowy Form is of an Ice/Fairy Typing and has a base stat spread of a frail sweeper. Their highest stat is Special Attack, 140, allowing them to reach the same levels of damage that the Sunny and Rainy Forms can do. They also have a very good Speed Stat that isnt too high to allow me to put some base stats into their special bulk, so you could put some EVs into their Defense to make sure they'd survive longer. You could also just use Tailwind prior to turning into the Snowy Form to account for this anyway.

Speaking of Moves, since Castozone has 4 Forms with different Typings and is a Normal Type at heart, they have a lot of them. Hyper Voice, Flare Blitz, Scald and Blizzard will be their preffered attacking Move for each weather. They have decent enough coverage and can definetly abuse their weathers with Thunder, Solar Blade or Aurora Veil. They have Tailwind, Thunder Wave, Haze, Defog and Fake Tears to support their team and disrupt opponents, and some other Moves just there for coverage.

thats about it

why no sandstorm form? Castform didnt have one, I didnt have a drawn design for them and I was just being lazy tbh.
