First, they had GoWild Fares available from $199 during the Blackout Days on Thursday and Friday from DC Airports to Texas.
Then, they had $16 nonstop flights available for a couple hours on Friday around 6 pm for Saturday. Didnt book quick enough, and they're gone.
Just a data point that flights can really open up anytime and close anytime right after and you really never know.
Booked a roundtrip with AA for a flight that had one free check in bag.
On my return flight, which had 1 IndiGo leg and 2 AA legs, I upgraded one of the AA legs which came with a second free check in bag.
When checking in with IndiGo, the check in agent said their system showed I was only entitled to one check in bag, and forced me to pay to not miss my flight. They said I could contact AA to get a refund.
I contact AA for the refund, and they say that they do not have a record of my payment to IndiGo, so they cannot provide a refund. They also say they are not sure why IndiGo would charge me for the second bag. They tell me to contact IndiGo.
I contact Indigo, and they say because their system says 1 free check in bag, they cannot process refund and the contact AA.
Gone back and forth many times. This is so dumb.
