Customer refused service from a server of a certain ethnicity

A lady came in with her son. Older lady. When she was being seated she told the hostess (who is same ethnicity as the server) I don’t want that (proceeds to call her a racial slur) waiting on me.” Then also says, “I only want a (certain color) person to wait on me.” I ended up with this lady. But didn’t know all this was said until after I got her order. I refused to wait on her after that. So the store manager finished the table for me and told me to go above and beyond if she needs something. I told him I would NOT be waiting on her at all. I also told him how disappointing it was he allowed her to stay after finding out what she said about his staff. She also complained about the food had it sent back multiple times. Complained about the quantity of ice in her drink. Want special treatment. He gave it to her. Am I wrong for refusing to server her? Would you have asked her to leave if you were the manager?

Manager believes she is being followed by the government.

I (39F) am a server. I have been at this job for a little over 6 months. One of my managers (39F) believes she is being followed by the government. Some background, she always has ear buds in. I hear her always saying weird stuff. Like, I hear you stop being mean to me. At first I thought she was talking to me or someone else around her. She would say not you. One day she told me how she believes the government is listening to her through her phone and cameras at home. She has had me listen to a few clips she has saved on her phone. On them I don’t hear anything but static. She has downloaded a dozen of apps to hear different frequencies, if there are trackers around you, and much more. She says they mostly tell her to kill her self, she is ugly, she is worthless, and shut up. I’ve asked why would they target you? She has no reasons. I feel for her because she is such a great person and manager. I don’t know how to respond when she tells me this stuff. She is scared she will come up missing one day. No she isn’t on drugs. No she isn’t a past drug user. She is obsessed with it to where it is starting to affect her duties at work. I came in tonight and she was crying saying they are worse today. I asked why not take the head phones out? If that’s how they are communicating with you today. She says, I’m gathering evidence I’m going to sue them. What do I say? How can I help? What would you do?
