Quick panel lags after One UI 8.5

Has anyone else noticed this? Everything was good before One UI 8.5. Even though the battery is better, more bugs are common nowadays, like this one. This phone cost $2000 at launch, and bugs like these make me want to go back to Ultra, where everything is more optimized. And this is present on the cover and main screen.

Insurance in UE - necessary?

Hey, I'm thinking, is it necessary to have insurance in the European Union or is the manufacturer's warranty here much better than elsewhere in the world? The EU is famous for its regulations and strict laws on electronics manufacturers, so I wonder if they will accept, for instance, a broken screen on a warranty here or if insurance is needed? I bought my Fold 7 for around 880 euro used, but it's in pristine condition, so not full MSRP.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 vs S24 Ultra

What's your take guys on this one? I have a beautiful Z Fold 7 512GB unlocked from Samsung with manufacturer warranty that I bought for 1000€. The phone is nice and all, almost everything is perfect (expect for speakers, zoom capabilities, lack of S-Pen and some quirks with One UI 8.5). The problem is I don't know if it's worth it that kind of money. I found a nice S24 Ultra 256GB with no warranty and some part of me say that I should save 500€ and buy a regular slab phone and the other part says that I should stay with Z Fold 7. Is there a big difference between these two to justify 500€ more? I mean S-Pen is nice but I don't think I'll be using it that often, but it's great for signing documents. The most important thing that bothers me is the fantastic anti-reflective screen ready for you all the time on S24 Ultra, while on Z Fold I'm scared to unfold it outside the home. Are the any other differences? Should I save 500€ and spend it for instance on vacation, or just stay with Z Fold 7?

Different DPI values is (kinda) fixed on latest update

I'm happy to announce that the DPI (Minimum width option) is kind of fixed on the latest update that came yesterday to my Z Fold 7. I say, kind of, because right now you can set a desirable value for the inner screen and it will scale properly, but when you do this, everything on the outer screen will be smaller (not to the point where, for instance, Settings displayed in multi-view on the outer screen before the update—that was a disaster). But for me, it is 100% manageable when I set the value to 500 dpi on the outer screen. I guess they still didn't figure out how to set different DPIs for outer and inner, but right now at least I don't have to reach for a PC every time I need to change the minimum width.

One UI 8.5 battery appreciation post

So One UI 8.5 on Z Fold 7 brought some changes - some I like (Airdrop) and some not so much (new small quick panel), but it seems that battery life has gotten much better. Almost 8 hours of SOT is not what I expected from this small battery. Note that almost 2.5 hours of Messenger usage was during a video call. I know it isn't a heavy usage but for me the battery is really good - definitely better than my previous S23 Ultra.

Hi, I couldn't find any info online about this, so I ask here. Is there a difference in app UI between Z Fold 7 and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. I watcged somewhere online that the PF10P has a proper tablet UI in apps such as TikTok and Youtube Music when the device is held horizontally. I can achieve the same results on my ZF7 but I have to rotate the phone. Is it true that the apps are better built for Pixel or is it just an expection?
