Walmart or Amazon

So I’m torn between which job to accept. Amazon pays 3$ more to start with raises every 6 months, and no weekends. It’s a closed door pharmacy warehouse so no customers. However I’ve been told it’s very demanding and if you don’t meet their speed and accuracy you can be let go, I’m not sure of how true that is so does anyone have any insight? Walmart would be less money but they were kind and willing to help me learn seeing as I have no experience. Very torn. Both seem like great jobs. Amazon starts earlier than I would like (before kids go to school) but that’s not a deal breaker for me. Weekends off would be great. And of course more money is great. But I want stability and somewhere I can work for a long time. Does anyone work or worked at Amazon and have any insight? Thank you

Should I try or wait.

Ok I’m torn. I had a miscarriage in November. I’m currently obese. I’ve been obese for a few years. I’ve lost 40 pounds. I’m currently 230 pounds. Not my Ideal weight to get pregnant. I still have time, however I have another child that is almost 10 (big age gap). I’m torn between giving myself 3-6 months of strict diet and exercising, then trying to conceive. I have PCOS so heavy on the trying part. OR if I should stop my birth control now and see what life has in plan for me WHILE continuing to diet and exercise. Any advice, suggestions, experiences? Also it would be my 2nd c section. All this while starting a new job in 2 weeks. Yes I know it’s a lot but I’m tired of waiting until I’m ideal.

Job fair?

In your opinion, is going to a job fair a waste of time? Why or why not? Are they likely to interview or set up an interview? I’ve heard some people say it’s just for publicity. Not sure how true that is. But I certainly don’t want to waste my time and all my printed resumes on nothing. I have nothing to lose and everything to gain, but I’m just looking for your thoughts and opinions and experiences. In your case what did you think if you’ve been there?

For teacher appreciation week I was thinking of giving a face mask, under eye patches, dry shampoo, sunscreen, a card with a gift card to Starbucks or dunks. Would this be a good gift? I know teachers receive way too many cups and for Xmas I did a self care bag with lotion and stuff and chocolate. So I want to add stuff I didn’t already give and could be used, is the sunscreen a stupid idea? I thought it would be useful but idk I can skip and it do maybe a nice scented hand sanitizer or foot cream. Thoughts?

I’ve applied to cvs Walgreens Walmart Costco stop and shop every pharmacy nearby and hospitals and I haven’t got hired. I have PTCB certification and tech license. I keep getting automated messages from cvs and Walgreens saying thank you but we moved on to other applicants. Had 2 interviews but nothing came from it. It’s only been a month and I have no prior pharmacy experience so I’m staying positive but I think I’m going to have to go in person and introduce myself. Any thoughts or ideas

I accidentally ate a one inch piece of banana bread 1.5 hours before my gallbladder ultrasound. It was very small. Now I’m wondering if I need to reschedule. I really need to know

When will the next batch of results be released? I’ve been waiting 10 days. There’s been 2 jobs waiting for me to get the results so I can be certified. I hope it doesn’t take the full 3 weeks
