I need to know I’m not alone or crazy

My little boy has only been in my house for two months. I believe he turned a year old this month. So, essentially, he is a kitten.

But his habits are the strangest of any cat I’ve ever had in 50 years. He eats the dog’s food. He picks up everything with his teeth and drops it to bat it around. Eyeglasses, scissors, water bottles, binder clips, nail files, markers, nail polish bottles.. these are just some of the things I’ve witnessed.

He is afraid of jumping. He is not a small dude. But he has trouble jumping from the floor to anything over about 2.5 feet. Sometimes if I am wearing a dress, he will grab onto it and try to work his way up. I built him a tower that he will only sit in if it put him in it.

He sleeps on my head. Like right on my face. And he makes biscuits in my hair. It hurts! I always have to move him but he finds his way back.

He tries to climb in the toilet. He has water. He drinks the dog’s water also. And he climbs in the sink to drink from the faucet. But he will still try to climb inside the toilet to get a drink.

I feel like he might have been a runt, because he has very clingy behaviors. He also seems slow to develop certain skills and has adapted to do what he can his way.

Is this a flame thing or do I really just have a kooky cat? I mean, he’s got to be the definition of curiosity k*lled the, ya know?

Have zero desire to eat

I started the 4 mg pill today. I was anxious because, even though I had very few side effects on 1.5, I was reading that 4 mg could be a doozy. So far, nothing unbearable.

On the 1.5, food noise was definitely muted. I don’t think I’ve eaten three meals a day in a month. It’s mostly been heavy protein and grazing. I’ve maybe lost five pounds. I don’t regularly step on a scale. But I definitely feel less bloated and can tell some underlying fat is going away.

But today I had a hard time eating. Definitely mental because my stomach was growling, so I know my body was hungry. And I get headaches when I don’t eat enough. But not only does food not sound good - I made a sandwich when I got home at 9 pm, and it didn’t taste good. There was cake in the break room and my mind identified the yellow icing as deviled egg filling. And I almost gagged just from looking at it.

I feel like I might have to force myself to eat on 4 mg. But if the weight isn’t coming off, then I don’t even know. Does my body think it’s starving so it’s hanging on to the weight?

Has anyone else experienced a total aversion to food?
