So....we all know two theories that are probably the actual story of what happened with Korra. Either Korra fought with the Sozin comet to save the world and in the process she destoryed it, or Vaatu took over her body or a fake Avatar form and destroyed everything, so the world was destroyed and everyone died but...i thought this just now, after watching the clip u/snophire posted and im like...what if the world wasnt destroyed and it was just certain people and places that teleported...in a way? What if Korra managed to close the Spirit World, imprison Vaatu there or something and some people got trapped in there? Like, i dont think we saw any spirits in the trailer, right? Obviously, this whole idea looks like propaganda, the way the story tells that Korra let down the world etc, so what if she managed to put the world in a different area and did not destoryed it but imprisoned it? I dont think that Bryke would think this far, but if they did, and that was the explanation, then it would show why we did not see any spirits, and yet we saw Vaatu, why there is only desert and only certain people alive, and this could actually lead the new Avatar to re-open the gate of the Spirit World and maybe take them all out to the real world and show that not all people are dead and in fact not everything from atla and lok, that we thought was destroyed, is gone.

Maybe im hoping for too much. But, the fact that desert is conquering the world and that we dont see any spirits makes me a little sceptical. Plus, IT CANT BE SO EASY to think about as a plot. Like, we all know and understand that either Korra saved or destoryed the world and thats it. So, im hoping maybe for a twist that wont destory Avatar more, i guess. What are your thoughts?

Hey, again im so sorry for the problem with the flairs, i thought all this time they were working, i did not know i didnt unlock them for you. Again, whoever has a problem, with ANYTHING, please text me or post it and i will try and fix it as fast as I can. I'm really sorry again, this is my first try of making a team and im a foreigner, so im trying to translate everyrthing to see what they mean and how do stuff in the team. Im still learning, so please dont hate me. Its funny a little, cause all this time i was like...hm, they must not like the tags i chose to write, its okay, maybe they are chill and like to talk about general things, not specific stuff. So, yes, sorry again and let me know if now you can choose them normally.

After seeing the mess I might caused by allowing certain behaviors without blocking users, I decided to change things a bit, after seeing how the haters behavior caused disatisfaction to the users. Firstly, I apologize for that, i thought that at first I could talk them out of this, by giving even the non shippers a chance of being part of the team if they had a problem with the writers BUT, to me the protection of my zutarians friends comes first, so since this moment, in this team, only ZUTARIANS ARE ALLOWED, in order to avoid bullying by haters. Any other user who tries to start fights, will be warned and then blocked by ME in order to keep some peace into the team without worrying about the haters.

I know i might sound strict but i figured out that the majority of us and so far and in fact i believe all of us, are coming from the Zutara team, so my first responsability is to make sure that this is a SAFE SPACE for us FIRST, before bothering to think about the outsiders.

This is why i updated the rules, I made sure to put trigger warnings for certain things and changed the bio of the team to be clear to everyone who sees the title and the reasons of why this team was created. In case anyone has an idea of how to make this place feel safer, or add a new rule or change something, please inform me :)

Ok, so... After watching the live action not only I realized that Aang is not the real main character (it's actually Zuko and Katara) but in this version Aang...DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT PROTECTING OTHER PEOPLE.

I do remember that in s1 he did felt sad about killing people and that made sense because him going into Avatar State and being one with the spirit killed people in the process (something that actually changed in the live action cause in the cartoon he supposedly haven't killed anyone but in here HE DID). But in s2, Aang... Didn't care exactly about other people in fact , he prioritizes which people he will help based on the "greater plan".

He did help along with the gaang the refugees BUT when the refugees, the Fire Nation people, ANY ONE ELSE, needed help, while living in Ba Sing Se (forgive the misspelling), Aang didn't give a fuck.

He didn't care that Katara wanted to help that sick kid. Or her reasons of becoming a Painted Lady. All he cared about was for the king to be forced to help him (LETS POINT OUT THE WORD FORCE), and basically... Find Appa. Like, bro used the Avatar State to threaten the Earth King by killing him if he won't help him. And people hate on Korra?? Really?

His problem with Katara was that she put their plan in danger so this Aang basically thinks which people need to get saved or not, in order for the war to end.

Now listen. I don't like Aang in either version. But at least in the cartoon, bro ACTUALLY WANTED TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE.

THIS AANG, is so ironically written, they HAVE to do this on purpose. Cause, he is the worst for me. He is not only an asshole who in the entire season treats Katara awful, accusing her of doing nothing, accusing her of actually having a life and not be by his side all the time, accusing all the members of his team to no care, even though the siblings literally abandoned their lives to go and help him become the Avatar, and traveled around the world FOR YEARS with him and Toph also left her home and rich life behind FOR AANG, because she believed in him and she actually thought that he was understanding her. In here, Aang DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT ANY OF THEM! He couldn't even say that he trusts them more than Long Feng. Like.. IS HE SERIOUS???? And how I enjoyed Sokka talking back to him!! I loved it cause bro was unbelievable!

Also, he DOESN'T GIVE A SINGLE FUCK ABOUT THE SICK KID Y'ALL!

THE AVATAR WHO'S SUPPOSED TO SAVE THE WORLD DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK OF HELPING A SICK KID!!! Let that sink in for a bit, cause bro cannot abandon a sick kid, because that's exactly what he did with this behavior, didn't even care about the refugees or the people and the way they were living in the kingdom, he only cared about advertising himself and playing daddy and son games with Long Feng, and then to go and say " I have to stop the war cause I'm the Avatar and I need to save humanity! "

If Aang is gonna be the Avatar, the logical thing to do, in order to be the savior of the world is to see how people are treated because of the war and for him to want to help them, EVEN IF THAT WILL DISTURB HIS PLANS. He must be willing to risk everything in order to help people. Like... Bro risked of their plan not in order to make the king change his tactics and be better at his job and helping people, but because he wanted to find out where Appa is... Like, he would know!!! He got mad ONLY BECAUSE OF HIS PET!!!

And before you get mad at me, I would as well, but his character is out if character many times and this is what Im trying to explain. He can not be all into saving the world as a general idea, when he can not bother to help sick kids or other people. He didn't give a duck about the Mechanic who was lost. He didn't give a fuck about his friends 😂. He only went to that prison because he heard Appa. HE WENT TO THE PRISON TO SAVE HIS PET!! The fact that Iroh was there, it was a clear coincidence.

He didn't give a fuck about anyone in s2, besides himself and his crush upon Katara and yet, he was SUCH A DICK to her that I literally felt they were doing this on purpose. Because, if Katara in s3 likes him after he treated her like that... The girl will be stupid. They've known each other for years in this version and he is an asshole, he gets worse episode by episode and she will like him?? That will be tragic.

I saw a video of a Kataanger who said that this Aang is awful and he doesn't deserve Katara and I was like... Finally! Some people starting to wake up. Aang is behaving with such a toxic and narcissistic way to all of them, which is actually sad, cause he does have some good traits in s2. He talked with Sokka, they were close, he had good moments with Toph, this Aang is supposed to be more mature and yet, they SCREWED HIM UP IN THE MOST BASIC THING! THE AVATAR MUST WANT TO SAVE ALL THE PEOPLE! Considering how Aang felt in s1, by the end and all these people's death, it would make much more sense for Aang to now want to help people so much, that it's toxic FOR HIM. And not to not care at all because he must follow his duty... Well, THIS IS HIS DUTY. The world cannot magically become better after the war ends. Ozai isn't the only bad guy here. People are not treated badly only in the Fire Nation. Aang needed to care as well, as much as the other characters do. He needed to have a character development in s2, instead in s1 he was far more mature and now he apparently is a teenager who's horny for his older kind of sister and wants to find his pet.

The dudes literally didn't give a fuck about their new series, so much that they gave all their money to the "Aang Movie", and that's how the new series about the new female Avatar (WE NEED TO POINT THIS OUT) looks like trash.

The writing of the Air Nomads is so ironic, that I can't believe I didn't see it all these years.

Title 01 | The Fantasy of the "greatest Nation ever existed"

Bryke do favoritism. We all know that. They favor Aang and because of that they favor the Air Nomads. Since atla existed, they made sure to point out that the Air Nomads as a culture would be this great image of an "actual greaat nation", protrayed as the victims ( which doesnt take away the fact that they were the victims based on the canon material, concerning their genocide but stay with me for more explaining) and the "worst nation ever existed" to be the Fire Nation, aka the ones who started the war/ the perpetrators.

They supposedly advertize the Air Nomads as this peaceful nation, with ideas and philosophies about forgiveness, respect and kindness, even acceptance and communication with yout inner being. They make sure to make Aang quote some of those ideas here and there many times.

They made sure to even dedicate a whole season to them ( lok s3 ), and make characters crave for the birth of this nation from the beginning( Aang, Tenzin, his family, Korra, etc).

The reason I call this favoritism, is because throughout both the series, and even the comics, Bryke never seemed to have a soft spot for other nations. They dont really care about the Earth nation people, they certaintly have a thing for making ALMOST ALL the bad guys be water nation people, they pretty much continue until this day to consider the Fire Nation as "the bad Nation", and they HAD NEVER AND WILL NEVER make the Air Nomads be the bad guys. Yes, the nation stopped existing, but why all of them? Why nobody survived? Even the new guy from the leaked movie, >!Tagah, who literally and canonically KILLED THE ENTIRE GAANG, wasnt portrayed as the bad guy, instead he was portrayed narratively as a good guy who took the wrong path, !<but when it comes to all the other "villains", or nations, they dont have an excuse.

[ The air nomads are monks, of course they are good people!

Of course their beliefs are far more higher than those of the Fire Nation, this is why Aang was right and Zuko wasn't when he said to Katara to forgive the man who burned her mother alive, cause his nation's beliefs are the "greatest!" ] =>ACCORDING TO BRYKE ONLY!!!

Title 02 | The inconsistency that ruins the fantasy: How that affected Republic City

A week ago, i dont remember exactly, i talked with some of you in the comments or i even made a post, idk, about my try to understand Aang's awful behavior to his children. Now, either he is an asshole, or the canon material gave birth to his OWN FAVORITISM.

A little game for you. Try to find the difference between the Air Nomads and the other 3 Nations. Think of it for a few seconds, or even moments and then read the answer bellow. 👇

Answer: The Air Nomads is the ONLY Nation where ALL ITS PEOPLE MUST BE BENDERS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED AIR NOMADS.

Aang makes Katara pregnant. She gives birth to Bumi. Bro is not an airbender, Aang is dissappointed. Doesn't even bother to teach him the philosophy of the culutrue though. Bumi grows up thinking he dissappointed his father and when he died, Bumi "knew" he wasn't proud of him.

Aang makes Katara pregnant again, Kya is a waterbender. Aang is dissappointed again. Doesn't even bother to teach her the philosophy of the culture. She grows up thinking she dissappointed her father and when he died, Kya "knew" she wasn't proud of her either, but heyyy, at least she tried to make her mother proud ( story for another time).

Aang makes Katara pregnant again. Tenzin is born, finally pappa is proud! He starts teaching Tenzin the philosophy he didnt bother teaching his kids, giving birth to a responsability that will follow him until his death,that its HIS DUTY to create a whole nation from the beginning.

Now, where im going with this.

Aang had this idea of the Air Nomads being ONLY BENDERS, because his people were giving birth to children not out of love, but to have benders. Aang doesnt even know his parents, or at least the audience doesnt. The monks do not give a fuck basically about parenting, they give a fuck about their expansion as a nation.

And by that, I mean that the Air Nomads, were trying to create a NATION FULL OF SOLDIERS.

Think about it, the philosophy didn't die. The ideas were there even Lok, monks existed, Tembles of the Air Nomads existed, Tenzin even went for vacation there with his family at some point, and yet, even though in the REST of the nations, non-benders were actually part of their nation BY BIRTH RIGHT, the atla universe implies that the non-benders WERE NOT PART OF THE AIR NOMADS.

Not, when Aang didnt think in the canon material, his two first born children as Air Nomads, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ON THEIR BLOOD.

The inequality that existed in Republic City, existed because the Avatar himself, the CREATOR of the city, had this idea of WHAT MAKES SOMEONE BELONG IN A NATION.

ITS NOT THE BLOOD BY BIRTH RIGHT.

ITS THE BENDING.

This idea was introcuded in the comics, where Aang DIDN'T CONSIDER as Fire Nation people mixed people, with earth narion blood, that were born there.

He made even Tenzin "repeat the history".

Tenzin broke up with Lin, because he NEEDED TO HAVE CHILDREN. He did love his wife of course, but when we see the mother of those little airbenders desiring to have a non-bender JUST FOR ONCE, in the first episode of Legend of Korra, says a lot.

So, the Air Nomads considered only the BENDERS as their people, since we dont have any evidence of ANY non bender from the canon material, and since we've witnessed all of them in the flashbacks in atla to bend, i believe we can all agree that this is canon.

The most "peacful" nation of all, that is favored by Bryke, created a whole nation of soldiers ( I WONDER WHYYYY?), probably, since this is canon, did not consider the non benders as Air Nomads, since Aang acted like that in lok, and even Tenzin refused to accept the non-benders but still believers as the new Air Nomads, instead IT WAS NEEDED to have Air Benders, so there you have it.

The ironic fantasy is actually one toxic and racist idea about what makes someone belong to ANY nation. And since Aang wanted every nation to live in peace in Republic City, wasn't ironic to act like that with his children? It should not matter to him that people are non-benders, and yet it did, because BENDING WAS CRUCIAL FOR HIM TO THINK OF SOMEONE AS AN AIR NOMAD.

Its a contradicting choice to make all the other nations have non benders, to accept the non benders and yet have the creator of a city that is called " Republic" have at the core of his prinviples, the idea that it doesnt matter if you have in your blood the dna of a culture, what makes you belong in it is the bending.

If an idea like that is even hiding in the shadows of the city's existence, no wonder how it got to the surface. Especially, after Aang took charge, because when the world was devided, the non benders were respected and were considered part of their nation just fine, but when Aang took charge in Republic City, things went downhill.

I haven't watched the whole show yet. I'm rewatching s3 in order to watch s4 and I know a few spoilers but here's what I noticed NOW that is bothering me a lot. I understand that Dawson is the main character, even if he doesn't feel like that. I understand that the writer was trying at first to introduce the idea of " soulmates", but the fact that ALL THE CHARACTERS, from their friends to their family members were trying to get this idea inside Dawson's head that Joey is his soulmate and then try to convince even Joey, that he is the one, and it's inevitable, is SO TOXIC to me that made me automatically stop shipping them. I shipped them in the first season. Then I stopped, cause I found their relationship very... Mediocre? Like, no chemistry at all between the characters and the actors. And I actually shipped her with Pacey from s1 because of the "enemies to lovers" vibes I was feeling between them.

Seeing Joey feeling the pressure of liking a guy that everyone is telling her its her destiny to be with him, NO MATTER WHAT, made me feel so angry cause, I have seen myself and other women to want other people and everyone trying to change their mind and force them into the idea of destiny that is not even real!

Like, Dawson and Joey together, so far for me, they are not the " destiny". In fact, they are a big mistake 😂. Their relationship started to become toxic after they became a thing. And not only that. I'm someone who's very much into this idea of destiny and soulmates etc. But, this forcing situation is not what it's implied to be.

A forced soulmates idea is not destiny.

For me so far, Pacey and Joey are the destiny.

Like, their love story is so much more well written in comparison to all the other love stories any of them had. It's structured in a way that it screams soulmates! Like, the guy you were always had a beef with, suddenly started started to be there a lot, being there for you, buying you a wall just to have a chance of expressing your feelings, or trying to defend you, supporting you in action not just in theory, for me it's the universe screaming at you he is " the one". Cause at the end of the day, the universe is us.

Dawson so far for me, is talking talking talking and that's it. Yes, he has his charm a lot, but this whole idea of women being "pure" of Joey being there and for him to expecting to be there forever and not have a life after him, forcing her to even choose and seeing her cry but continuing to basically blackmailing her of losing him even though he knew he was the family she needed, thats the destiny of the show? 😂

It's the most sexistic thing I have ever seen. If this doesn't go as I want to, it will be very unfair for Joey's character.

Hey, so as people already saw, this team is new. And this is my first time of creating any team on this app, so im trying to learn how to do that. I wanted to inform you that i put tags at the posts, but in case you need more tags, or more stuff, anything, let me know so I can make this place better for all of us to have fun. Hey, this will be officialy my first post in this team. I wanted to share with you a few things I noticed about Bryke. So, we all know they left Netflix to basically create " greater things" because " Netflix didn't understand their vision" meaning they didn't let them force Gordon and Kiawentiio make out in s1, but anyways, so I noticed that to me they seemed to not really do any work. They keep promise all this stuff, firs a Kyoshi movie, then a Zuko movie, then a Korra movie, then an Aang movie, then a trilogy about Aang and the gaang. Its been years and a hacker hat do basically leak the movie and threaten to realease the new series in order for them to release them. And here is what i've noticed.

1. Bryke copy pasted the title of Lok to the new movie

From "The Legend of Korra " ➡️" The Legend of Aang"

2. Then they copy pasted the whole story arc with the non benders to become airbenders from "The Legend of Korra"

In S03 of Lok, Zaheer gets free and has airbending powers, along with other non benders and what does he do? He tries to kill the Avatar and his friends. ➡️Tagah is free from his ( iceberg) prison, gives bending powers to non benders and then tries to kill the Avatar and his friends.

3. Then they copy pasted season's 2 story arc with Vaatu and Rava and the 2 Avatars

In s02 od Lok, Katara and Unalak fought as the two Avatars, the one of Rava and the one of Vaatu to the point where the world changed completly (spirits came to their world and stuff). ➡️ In the new series, the "Seven Heavens" we have again two avatars, in this case, twins, and it is implied ( its pretty clear from the trailer though) that Korra basically fought with her other evil self, and changed the world completly.

Like, for people who know "better" they just copy paste their OWN WORK, and dont even try to do anything without CHAGPT'S HELP! Because yes, that happened. They used chagpt for drawning the pictures of the characters in the leaked movie and I'm pretty sure that they used it for the plot.

Like, THESE TWO MEN ARE BORED!!! There is no way they didnt make chagpt write the story for them.

What's irritating is that, THEY ARE NOT WRITERS! THEY ARE ANIMATORS! And they couldn't even do that right! They couldnt do their FUCKING JOB, RIGHT! Like, they basically animated Lok, so, how the hell, they did not know how Asians look like? Because that was their excuse. That they used it because " they didnt know if South East Asians have beards or not." Like, I know their excuses are becoming worse and worse day by day, but this is just offensive at this point.

I expected to see a new series with the world developping more, for the non benders to be able to use technology to now be equal to the benders, for the world to be so peacful in its surface where the Avatar isn't needed. And yet for tecnhology to take control over the world in secret.

Just imagine how cool it would be to have new kinds of technology and new ways of bending or even see non -benders to be able to use bending with the help of technology! Like, what if technology was able to make them use for a little amount of time, ai thingies of elements? How cool bending matches would look like. How the cities would be like. To see that Korra wasn't an awful Avatar. She tried her best and eventually she had a happy life with her friends, even after all this hate she got from fans. To see the FUTURE and the equality between non benders and benders that the world needed. To see new political stories. To see new grown up characters with actual personalities and goals. Like, if the Avatar isn't needed ( at first ) then what they want to do? Do they have dreams? Maybe it would be a character where he would want to do mroe stuff, not just be the Avatar, since the story was supposed to be in the future. New romances ( even though Bryke suck at those as well, but a girl can dream), new interesting villains with new extraordinary abilities. How would the world be? Wouldnt the technology would have a bad effect on the spirits? Stuff like that.

Now, we will basically see the world starting from the scratch. The world the gaang created and Korra tried to protect was destroyed. Korra is hated by everyone. Korra CANONICALLY MASS MURDERED EVEYRONE, and even if it was Vaatu, EVERYONE IS DEAD. Jinora is dead. Tenzin is dead. Lin is dead. Mako is dead. Bolin is dead. Asami is dead. The kids are dead. Everyone is dead and all that exists is death and a gigantic kite that woke up. Oh, and Korra's last moments alive? Miserable.

GREAT JOB BRYKE! YOU JUST MANAGED TO DESTROY EVEYRYTHING YOU BUILT. AND HERE I THOUGHT THINGS WITH THEM COUDN'T GET ANY WORSE! I WAS WRONG!

Hello, my friends! As the creator of this team i wanted to welcome you and exlain to you why I created this team. Now, i know its sounds a little mean to have a team that its purpose is for us to say how we dislike specific people, but I created because I've noticed that we are not allowed to really talk about them in other teams online, so I felt like I needed a safe space to talk about them. How I believe they have ruined the Avatar Universe or even treated the zutara fans etc.

You can say that I''ve been gathering a lot, after being a fan of the Zutara ship, since the creators of the show I love, basically bullied the people of my community, so I really needed to create this team where we could all share our thoughts about their projects, or them in general and if possible, to connect those with Zutara or in general the show. This is a free space to basically upload your frustations, obviously i do not agree with any harasment towards them, thats why the goal of expressing all those negative emotions, is to happen only INSIDE THE TEAM.

So, whoever wants to join and discuss about them, is free to do so.

So, basically, in the Legend of Aang movie, Katara and Toph exist only to drool over two men that were both airbenders, both were stuck in an iceberg for thousands of years, and both wanted to find more Air Nomads.

Katara and Toph, talked only about Aang and Aang 2.0 ( Tagah ) IN LITERALLY ALL THEIR SCENES!!!!

Katara couldn't stop saying to Aang and Tagah ( because of course she wasn't gonna have ANY OTHER INTERACTION with any of the other characters, not even her own brother, no!) HOW AMAZING AANG WAS! Even though Aang wasn't shown to do anything to built Republic City, in fact it was Katara who was on her own and was left behind and tried to do her best as the movie suggests, cause Aang was traveling around ( AND YET NO STATUE, ONLY AANG'S).

Then you have Toph, TOPH FUCKING BEIFONG who COULDN'T STOP DROOLING OVER TAGAH, to a point where Sokka felt jealous.

Yes, that was implied as well!

Both Katara and Toph were drooling over the two airbenders who had LITERALLY THE SAME BACKSTORY and tried to become physical with them IN THE WHOLE MOVIE.

In every scene that Katara and Aang were, Katara was kissing him or was saying HOW AMAZING Aang was.

In every scene that Toph and Tagah were, Toph was trying to hug him or was saying HOW ATTRACTIVE Tagah was.

That's it people. Thats how Bryke chose to portray two of the most feministic icons of the show.

Like two women existing only to drool over Aang.

Because yes. TAGAH IS AANG.

And that is the most sexistic thing a writer can do.
