I've booked the airport embark from Anchorage to Seward and it has been quite a hassle. Celebrity told me I'd be called about it and no one ever contacted me. I called repeatedly and emailed the destination team. Last I heard they said that we need to get on the shuttle directly from the airport gate, but our flight leaves the day before and we would have to stay at the airport for 12 hours.

Has anyone had experience with booking this train? Has Celebrity communicated with you? Did you find a way to call the destination team? This whole process has been a bit of a nightmare.

I've read that Hubbard Glacier is prone to "ice choke", which prevents the cruise ships from getting too close. Did anyone sail to Alaska in May? Can you give me an idea of the conditions? Trying to decide if they excursion to get close up to the glacier on a catamaran is worth it for $600 a person. 🫪
