Very surprised by Berg larsen 110/2/SMS
what are your opinions on this mouthpiece?
I bought this piece few months ago and i like it a lot, much more than my link (NY 7*).
I am genuilely impressed by this mouthpiece, it can sound really dark with a good subtone, but if you push a little you get that straight ahead R&B sound.
The tip opening is not really 110, i actually measured it at 98 (maybe it has been worked on?) It has a very little round baffle and the small chamber with the drop in the bore (it's a berg larsen scoop bill); i also noticed that it has small tip rails (and to my surprise very even) but i don't know if this affects the sound.
The only problem that i have is that when i start playing it and it is still cold i can't get out the low notes (with the otto link i had no problems), any suggestions on how to improve that?
I am currently using 3,5 red java on it.
