Finally finished my first endgame keyboard build. I've wanted a W1-AT for the longest time, but outside of a new(R3?) GB I didn't think I'd find one as they typically sell immediately on reddit. After like 5 months of checking daily I eventually found one on r/mechmarket. Thank you u/ImVeryUnimaginative the keyboard is amazing, and it's no longer looking weird as hell with the temporary mutagen keycaps! I love GMK Mutagen but it just did not work on this board at all.

Normally i plan my builds beforehand but i couldn't start with a plan prior to getting the W1-AT as i didn't know what color would be available. The board sat for a couple months as i waited for a custom plate and searched for keycaps which i eventually found on mechmarket. Thank you u/hieuremy the keycaps are incredible, and arrived in perfect condition! Now that it's finished, I couldn't be happier with the finished product. This is going to be my daily driver work board.

In the last 2 weeks, the Tofu 65's have arrived, plus a W1-AT which came up as an unexpected opportunity a couple weeks ago! I don't have a final plan for the W1-AT yet as I hadn't planned anything out, but for now I think it looks great until I get a final plan together!

I'm considering getting the W1-AT either re-anodized or Cerakoted, so if anyone has any recommendations for services in the US, I'd love to hear them!

Tofu65V3.0 build

My first Tofu, and I'm really impressed with the material quality and sound!

Specs:

Tofu65V3.0 Raw, wired only PCB, PEI plate, gasket mount, no foams, Copper weight

Stabilizers: Typeplus x YIKB - lubed and tuned

Switches: Bsun Golden Apple

Keycaps: GMK CYL Hi! Viz R2

Cable: Koolkeys Pro Themed - Hi! Viz

I wanted to see what a full PEI build would sound like, and I'm amazed at how mellow and deep the build sounds with no foams or tape (besides case force break). I should have a CF plate coming and am planning to build that one top mount with some HMX Cthulhu switches to see how loud I can make this board!

I haven't used a split backspace in a long time, and I'm super happy to be back to having it plus 7u spacebar.

I'm not affiliated with kbdfans at all, but wanted to share this in case anyone was looking for an in stock Tofu60v3.0. The extras sale should go live in 2 hours at 5pm PST.

I noticed today that they have a countdown banner on their website. Not sure if anyone is looking for one, but if you are, i hope they have your preferred color in stock!

Also, not my photo, taken from the kbdfans website for an example of the board. I don't have one of these, but i did order a tofu65v3.0 which has shipped and should hopefully arrive in the next week or two.
