It's four weeks before the wedding and my dress might be too small

Hi guys,

I got my dress altered recently and I'm not sure if it's now too small in the ribcage and sides or if I'm just not used to boning in clothing. The only thing she did was sew the deep v in the center of the dress together and she said she'd have to take in some of the stomach to prevent bulging.

I tried it on yesterday with shapewear for the first time and it is hard to get it zipped up but it does zip with help. I am able to life the skirt of the dress up past my stomach to where my ribs are but no further so I don't think it's too tight in the stomach. It does feel difficult to move side to side and the boning sits extremely snug against the sides of my ribs it also feels a little tight when I take a large breath but I still can breathe. I'm not sure if I'm just not used to wearing a corseted dress or if it's too small and my wedding is in four weeks!

Note: I'm not wearing shapeware in the last image.

Is my dress too small or am I just not used to the boning?
