Blind Kitten

So I have a blind kitten (about five months now) I found when she was only 3-4 weeks old and her eyes where beyond saving when I took her to the vet the lens popped out of one as the vet was checking her anyway the primary vet I take her to says she doesn’t think she needs the surgery to seal up her eyes and so I just want a second opinion (or multiple one) to know the risks of her not getting this surgery I’ve seen others say she could develop tumors or serious infections and I desperately want to get her a friend to play with because it breaks my heart to leave her alone when I go to work.

Advice please 🙏

This is my Batty some may have seen my previous post about her (found out from an ER visit at 11 at night she was a girl) but that was awhile ago she’s okay but my primary vet that’s been taking care of her said she doesn’t think she needs surgery to seal
Her eyes/ remove the tear ducts and I see so many other posts about tumors and long term issues she could have as she gets bigger and I really want to get her a friend and I’m scared to do it with her eye issues so if anyone has any advice or wisdom to share I would greatly appreciate it.

Should I be concerned about the noises he is making?

This is batty he just recently started making these sounds when we are playing he is only 3months old and he is completely blind and we’ve been through a lot since I found him I won’t go on and on about everything but I just wanted to know if I should be concerned.

Found Kitten

Found this little guy in the middle of the road about two months ago (just found this subreddit today) and he had a major infection in both eyes and was severely underweight for his age (3-4 weeks according to my vet and only weighed 6oz) it’s been a very bumpy journey for both of us (a lot of close calls and vet visits) but I’ve never loved something that causes me so much anxiety in my life. ❤️ (last two photos are from today) he is almost 2lbs! His name is Batty ❤️
