Long distance situation texted me after she ended things 2 months ago. I am 21 male and she is 21 female
She messeged me at 3am where she lives saying 'hey how are you?'. Except for me saying happy birthday a week and a half ago and her responding with a little thank you we have not spoken since she ended things abruptly when she got home 2 months ago.
I responded 30 minutes later saying 'I'm going alright. how are you?' which she responded 15 minutes later saying 'I'm okay about to start uni again'. I didn't want to have a conversation with her at 3am probably after she had a night out and also it still hurts so i responded an hour later before i went to bed syaing 'that's going to be fun'. I woke up the next morning and she's left me on open 6 hours ago.
When things were going good she said no matter what we would be friends for a long time. But after she ended things it really didn't look like we would be speaking at all. It's hard because what she did to me hurt a lot, and to text me at 3 am after all this time is weird, but the connection we had was so deep and I know this isn't going to change things but I don't want to be an asshole either after everything. And im wondering if I should text syaing something because I was pretty dry or just leave it at that because If i leave it feels like we would never talk again
