Xbox Series X not powering on after timing out

So my Xbox series X was purchased in 2024 as a refurbished console. In the past week, I have encountered an issue of my Xbox not powering on after it has shut down. I specifically noticed that it only happens when the console times out after an hour of inactivity or so which happens quite often as I always leave my Xbox on because we use it for all entertainment purposes in our house so we will likely use it again before it powers off. Obviously I should change my settings to avoid it powering off anymore. But does anyone else know how to fix this problem and successfully power the Xbox back on?? I have already of course tried unplugging it and waiting 30 seconds as well as holding the power button for extended periods. I switched from a surge protector to the actual outlet too. This problem usually resolves itself after leaving the Xbox for about a day but then happens again when it times out again. I have started turning it off myself when I think to and never encounter this problem, ONLY WHEN IT TIMES OUT. Any suggestions??

Lifeweaver is the best

I enjoy playing Lifeweaver so freaking much. I used to be a hardcore mercy main but ever since LW released I have gravitated more to his playstyle. Im really only posting this for my enjoyment because I know people are getting tired of hearing rework ideas, but I think it’s really fun to think about and I came up with a bunch of ideas last night and I personally feel like they fit his character and kit so well.
Have you ever thought about rejuvenating dash and how it doesn’t feel like anything special? What if it could utilize those petals on his back somehow?

Passive Ability: Superbloom
- every 20 thorns triggers a burst of extra damage (same as now)
- each thorn hit charges a healing blossom by 5. Successfully hitting 20 thorns will charge a superbloom charge.
- a superbloom charge can be consumed in 2 ways, will discuss later; maximum of 5 charges
- also would change his UI to resemble a lotus flower with 5 petals, each petal can turn pink indicating a superbloom charge
- superbloom charges are automatically applied to healing blossom or dash if a charge is available and one of those abilities are used; no extra button presses

Abilities:
Rejuvenating dash: still works the same as it does now.
- if LW has a superbloom charge, he consumes one upon use of dash. Usage of a superbloom charge with dash causes the petals on LW’s back to form a small shield in front of LW. It has 150 HP and is a bit larger than LW so he can use it for body blocking and survivability. The small barrier is not stationary, it follows Lifeweaver. Enemies can still target LW from his backside as the barrier only blocks the front side.

- Life Grip: remains the same
- new minor perk: Death Grip - I chose this name to represent when you’re holding onto something for dear life and won’t let go. After gripping an ally, LW’s damage and healing are boosted by 20% for 5 seconds. This allows him to heal a gripped ally faster or take out the opposing target.

- Petal Platform: no changes
- healing petal perk removed :/
- consumed a superbloom charge if one is available; this puts a barrier on the platform. Keeping players standing on the platform a bit safer when exposed in the air. Barrier has 150 HP.

Ultimate: Tree of Life
- no changes
- New minor perk: Willow Tree - this makes the tree slightly larger, and it now has “withes” (the Willow tree vines). These withes are actually made of barriers. They don’t offer complete coverage but they offer a lot as they are around the whole tree. They can be destroyed, having small sections like domina’s barrier array. However, after being destroyed they can actually regenerate.

Primary Fire:
- Healing Blossom - works the same as it currently does
- charging to full will consume a superbloom charge if one is available. A superbloom blossom will add an additional 30 healing as well as an AOE of 30 healing to allies near the target

- Thorns: only changes were mentioned above: basically making superbloom base kit and it charges healing blossom

New Major Perks:
- now that superbloom is base kit we have some room here.
- I personally see potential for sow the seed so I explored that and made slight changes
- Growing Seed: this is sow the seed reworked. It is no longer deployable and still requires melee with blossom equipped to activate. Turns your next blossom a faint green to indicate it is equipped. Applied to your next blossom gives the target overhealth equal to 30% of their max HP. It also offers a 20% damage boost for 5 seconds. Cooldown likely need increased considering tanks would get over 100 extra health.

- Withering Seed: melee while thorns equipped to use. Targets enemies. Applies a withering rose to a target that slows them by 15% and also causes the target to take 10% increased damage.

This feels very cohesive to me and adds a lot of utility to weaver’s kit. His tree can be used for more than healing and has a more defensive quality with that new minor perk. Death grip offers benefits to offensive utility and healing output. The added superbloom effect for dash is also so exciting and honestly makes a lot of sense to me. Since it uses a resource build up mechanic I feel its power is balanced. Dash activates healing burst then passive regeneration and the barrier allows the regeneration to do a bit more.

For the major perks you choose to focus more on a defensive playstyle or aggressive playstyle. Withering seed could help you charge more superblooms. Growing seed can help you keep players up for longer and also allows for something less reactive.

I was a bit sad to get rid of healing petal just because I find it to be useful, and I didn’t make it base kit cuz I don’t want to over inflate him. The ability has its purpose and remains useful regardless.

I added a lot of barriers to the kit as I felt they made sense to his life weaving playstyle. They allow him to be more protective of team mates rather than simply healing as we all know he can easily become a heal bot. I don’t want him to seem too strong so the barriers were pretty weak, but still quite useful tools. I originally didn’t have a superbloom effect on the platform, but felt that it was fitting.

Of course, some numbers may need tweaked as maybe all the barriers are too strong, maybe stacking some of these together is too strong, idk but we do know that a LW rework is planned for later this year. I’m hoping when that happens, it looks something like this. I’d love to see this in game.

LW Perk Ideas

I just think brainstorming this stuff is a lot of fun so here are some ideas. Trying to think of things I haven’t said before. Ultimately tried to think of things that give him more proactivity

Ultimate based perks:

- Willow Tree: now has withes that act as a barrier to those within the tree. The withes have physics and can sway as people pass through them. This also makes the tree larger, and maybe the withes can be destroyed similar to how domina’s barrier works.

- Petal of Life: while tree of life is active petal platform also pulses out healing in a smaller radius. Works the same as his ultimate but it’s just a smaller one.

Regular kit perks:

- Flower Bud: when you use rejuvenating dash Your petals form a barrier in front of you that also heal 20hp/second. Barrier has 250 hp and lasts up to 5 seconds.

- Bio-available: petal platform now has a barrier around it with 300 hp

- Herbal boost: has 3 charges, replaces platform. Send a petal to a team mate that lasts 5 seconds. Heals them 30 hp per second and gives them a 10% damage boost.

- superbloom (reworked and base kit passive ability please!): hitting thorns charges blossom and has its current in game effect as well. Dealing damage also charges up to 5 “superblooms” of healing. Superbloomed blossoms heal an extra 30HP and have an AOE heal to nearby allies of 30hp. I also think it would be neat if dealing damage was able to stock up these blossoms, so that when weaver starts healing again he might have a few full power blossoms at the ready so he doesn’t have to spend the time to charge them.

- Sow the seed (reworked): now no longer a deployable, instead is applied to your next blossom. Offers overhealth equal to 30% of target’s max base health as well as 20% speed boost for 5 seconds. Alternatively, meleeing while thorns are equipped throws a rose sapling to an enemy target that slows them by 20% for 3 seconds and they take 10% more damage.

- Death Grip: after gripping an ally, LW’s healing and damage are both boosted by 20% for 5 seconds.

Ultimately just tried to emphasize “weaving life” in his kit more and get a bit creative with things and I really like the idea of him being able to offer barriers somehow..

My favorite ideas here are Willow tree and flower bud. And of course I love my rework ideas for the others. Hoping to see something like that for superbloom in his rework later this year.
