Anyone else feel like people into grunge are weirdly hard to find now?

Lately I’ve realised I don’t really know many people who are genuinely into grunge/90s alt music and I kinda miss having people to share that stuff with. I've tried local events and groups but there's honestly nothing.

I’ve been getting deeper into bands like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and recently started taking music more seriously. Mainly I've been focusing on vocals, but I also play guitar, drums, and piano.

Would honestly just be cool to meet more people into this kind of sound, share demos/playlists, talk albums, maybe jam eventually, whatever.

Feels like people into this kind of music are weirdly scattered nowadays. How does everybody else go about finding grunge-loving friends??

[LFG] Looking to meet people who are genuinely into 90s rock / grunge

I don’t really have many people around me who are into the same kind of music, so I’m looking to meet people who’d be interested in making/talking through grunge, 90s alt, sludge, or heavy shoegaze ideas.

Influences: Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Superheaven, Stone Temple Pilots, Deftones, Acid Bath, Black Sabbath

I’m currently focused on singing, but I also casually play guitar, drums, and piano. I’m not looking for anything super polished straight away - more people to share ideas with, swap rough demos, give feedback, maybe build something from there.

I’d especially like to connect with anyone who’s into darker/heavier/emotional alt-rock sounds.

If that sounds like your thing, comment or DM me :)
