What's the most credits you've blown on a single song?

Have a current song that is 90% there and should have called it "good enough" long ago...but just can't get that final missing piece. Almost 1500 credits in and running out of tricks to try. I can't be the only idiot blowing way to many credits on a single song like this, right? Right? ...RIGHT?!
