Hey everyone! 👋🏻

I'm planning to pursue a Master's in Germany for the Summer Semester 2027 and would appreciate some honest advice.

My biggest concern is my German GPA of 2.58, as many public universities require 2.5 or better. I've found programs where my subject credits match their ECTS requirements, but my GPA falls slightly short. I've also seen applicants with GPAs of 1.6–1.7 getting rejected, which makes me worried about my chances.

I have a few questions:

• Has anyone with a German GPA around 2.5–2.6 been accepted into a public university for a Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field?

• Are there any English-taught public university programs for Summer 2027 where my profile might be suitable?

• What can I do to improve my chances of admission apart from meeting the GPA requirement?

I understand that admission depends on each university's criteria, and I'm not expecting any guarantees. I just want to understand my realistic options.

If you've been accepted with a similar GPA, please share your experience, university, and program. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you! 🙏

Hey everyone! 🙏

I'm an Indian student planning to pursue a Master's in AI / Data Science / Computer Science in Germany, targeting the Summer 2027 intake. I've started my prep and would love honest guidance from people who've already walked this path!

✅ What I've done so far:

Gathered all the necessary documents

APS documentation submitted recently

IELTS booked for August 2026 (targeting 7.0–7.5 band)

📋 What I still need to do:

Clear IELTS and receive TRF

Write SOP & arrange LORs

Apply via uni-assist

Open Blocked Account

Complete the student visa process

❓ My questions:

Is my timeline realistic for Summer 2027?

How early should I start uni-assist applications?

Any tips for writing a strong SOP for CS/AI programs?

How do I go about shortlisting universities — what factors should I consider?

Is there anything important I might be missing or overlooking?
