2020 Colt Python: Hot Garbage

I gotta say guys, when I got this gun I was so happy. Elated.

Then I shot it. And shot it some more. I've put maybe 500 rounds through it over the last few months.

Every single set of 6 shots, I get a light primer strike. Pull trigger, hammer falls, click, nothing happens. I thought at some point maybe its me, maybe I'm not used to shooting revolvers so I handed it over to a couple friends and even RSO's and let them each shoot 20-50 rounds through the gun. Same thing. 5/6 shots will fire reliably.

For 1500$ this gun is nothing more then a fucking expensive paperweight or office piece. Sure as hell ain't worth shooting.

I've always been a "buy never sell" but I live in CA. Sending this gun back to Colt, just for some underpaid intern to "fix" the gun by staring at it and firing it a few times, and then send it back a few weeks later would only compound my frustration with this firearm.

What do you guys think? Sell this POS and be done with it? Send it to Colt? Or take it to a gunsmith? I am all ears.

Anakin + Commander Cody

Do y'all think they'll release it again? I missed the Walmart pre-order and there's no way I'm paying some asshole scalper 150$ for it.

Serious glute pain + sciatica symptoms?

Hello y'all. I wanted to post here because because I've been in constant chronic pain for three years now with what seems like no relief in sight. I wanted to ask some questions and get your opinions.

About 3 years ago I started to develop intense pain in my glute that feels like it tingles and runs down to the back of my leg but also sometimes goes up into my lower back. The result is that I feel like my hips/lower back are very stiff due to this pain. I felt sciatica-like symptoms so I went and got an MRI and X ray of my spine and the results were that I had a very typical spine for an early 30s athletic man. No bugles. Nothing broken. No spinal stenosis. No scoliosis. My GP told me I should just stop exercising entirely and transition away from weightlifting which made me furious because he's kind of portly and doesn't understand it took me years to build up my body with squats and deadlift numbers that I am proud of. I still exercise but I do feel a fair amount of pain afterwards.

Anyways fast forward a year of PT and Pilates and all this core-strength training later and I *still* have this dull intense pain that feels like its deep inside my glute.

I was complaining to a friend of mine that recently this pain has made late night activities with my wife a very painful endeavor and that I feel hopeless because my doctor and a back specialist found nothing wrong with me and this friend of mine sort of put it out there that the problem could not even be with my back but within my hips/pelvic region.

Has anyone here had sciatica like symptoms or this deep dull neverending ache in their glute/lower back and had it attributed to pelvic injuries or muscle tears or ligament tears? I have already scheduled an appointment with a sports medicine doctor that specializes in the pelvis/hip regions but I would like to hear from others as well.

Sciatica or something else?

Making this post because I am starting to lose hope. I've struggled with this for over three years and Im in my early 30s but this started around 29.

I got an x-ray of my spine and an MRI and the both came back as very typical. No bulges, but some very mild disc degeneration which my doctor said was very normal for my age.
I have done about a year of PT and it hasn't helped. And now going on two years with Pilates for core strength. I am still always in pain.

Its this never ending pain in my glute. And it shoots up into my back or feels like its this hot burning feeling that goes down to my foot but I constantly feel very stiff. Like right now after a long day I am lying in bed and I feel it in my left glute, lower back. I think the worse part is it absolutely interferes when I'm with my wife. It's made late night activities with her almost impossible I'm in that much pain but I can still go to the gym oddly enough.

Has anyone found any relief to their sciatica? What am I to do if PT or Pilates or core work doesn't help?

Does what I have even sound like sciatica or could it be something else? I am seeing a hip specialist on friday to determine if its something hip or pelvis related.

Why are they nerfing console players?

So I was in a round with my buddies, all of us us are a mix of Xbox or Ps5 players. Doing decently with our humble 2.0 to 2.5 K/D selves. While playing the objectives. Meanwhile the enemies top 10 are PC players going 54-2, 48-7, 28-1, 49-9, etc. Like every cross play round, the PC players dominate but we still do what we can and do well.

But it got us thinking about the new update thats coming and how they're going to take away some of the things that help minimize that massive hardware advantage PC players have over console players.
And the question is.... well... why?

We have some aim assist that makes the reticle stick to players that sometimes is to our detriment in CQC situations but helps mid range and long range vs beamy PC players. And we have a what, 25% recoil reduction?

Meanwhile a PC player has better hardware resulting in a faster tick rate and less latency and more frames per second which provides smoother gameplay , and above all: The precision of a mouse. You have faster flicks and reactions and instant directional changes a controller can't match. More precise micro adjustments a controller can't match. Easier recoil management anyway because you're aiming with your arm vs our thumbs. These advantages are especially apparent in CQC or CQC maps.

I think many PC players genuinely don't want to admit they have a massive hardware advantage which is weird because they'll brag about how superior PC's are but they like to also conflate their 5,000$ PCs with "skill" while calling non pc players poor lmao which uhhhh yeah sure they can feel free to think that way but why make things even easier for them? If as a developer you're trying to make things equal this isn't it. If anything console players still struggle to compete with PC players as is. It's not apples to apples currently. Our consoles are like Honda Civics vs Porsches. So why nerf us more? Why not just separate Console players (Ps5 +Xbox) and PC players entirely at that point?

Anyway if someone could explain the logic to me so that I may understand it better that would be great. All in All even with the advantages PC players have over console players it's still fun to play with most of y'all most of the time.
