Looking at options in Ubud, any recs?
Traveling to Bali from the states for a wedding end of summer and decided to make a vacation out of it. Minimum travel time is 26hrs so we're thinking of either stopping in Australia on the way, somewhere in Asia, or spending more time exploring Bali. We've only been to Japan, Bangkok, Hong Kong, love trying local food, enjoy a mix of relaxing + sightseeing and city + beach/nature. Any suggestions?
33, no kids, HCOL, no loans, getting married next year and hoping to buy a house in 2-3yrs, LTCP ~24.3%, ~$30K for wedding and down payment ~$200K split.
I currently have ~$155K in my Fidelity brokerage (positions below), maxed out Roth for '26 total ~38K, $63K HYSA, 401K ~186K, don't qualify for new 401K yet but once I do plan to contribute ~10%/mo. I am semi-risk adverse which is why I have that amount in my HYSA but also willing to take some risk which explains the individual tech stocks. Thinking I should liquidate some of my assets to prepare for wedding + house + kids in the next few years. ChatGPT suggested starting to sell AAPL, BOTZ, GOOGL in chunks, I've held all positions for >1 yr, then putting the earnings into money market and t-bills. What would you do?
