This is an experience from someone reporting on the treatment from integro absolutely madness..

"I had just moved and registered with a new GP. They were not convinced that cannabis was legal and that I was being prescribed it and questioned my mental health believing I was having ‘delusions’. My clinic happened to call when I was with my new GP. I thought perfect timing and I handed the phone over to my GP so they could hear first hand from the clinic about my prescription.. the peroen at the clinic had no idea I had only just registered with this GP and that this was our first meeting. The GP told my clonic that they are referring me to psychiatry because they feel I am currently experiencing delusions - no mention that the delusions were that I believed I was precibed legal cannabis.

I rolled my eyes, didn’t think much of it, the appointment ended and I carried on with my day.

Later, I realised I never actually got to speak with the clinic when they called earlier as the call was taken over by my GP and decided to ring them to see if they could speak to me then or if I needed to rebook a call.

I tried to call the clinic, the line wouldn’t connect. Tried again and again and again. The line still would not connect.

Figured it was my signal and it was getting late so figured I’d try them the next day.

The next day came, I tried to call them again.. still wouldn’t connect.. thinking there must be something wrong with my phone or the signal I just kept periodically trying.

Tried my clinic again.. the call wouldn’t connect.. strange..

This went on for a few days.

I had a spare SIM card which belonged to my hot spot router so eventually I put that in my phone and tried to call the clinic.. it connected straight away.. the line was ringing, someone answered.. I hung up!

Shocked.. I tried off my actual number again.. wouldn’t connect..

My neighbour was walking passed so I asked them if I could borrow their phone.. called my clinic from their phone.. it went straight through, it rang, someone answered..

The shock has started to wear off and I could feel my heart sink as I slowly realised that my clinic had blocked my phone number.

I rang them again using my neighbours phone, this time it connected, rang, they answered.. I explained who I was and explained that I think there might be a technical issue as my phone number won’t connect when I dial their number on my phone but it does when I call from other peoples phones.

Their response ‘no. It’s not technical issue, you’ve been discharged.’

One 2 minute conversation with a person who has never even spoken to me before and they discharged me.. didn’t inform me that I had been discharged and simply blocked my phone number.

I’ve been a patient advocate for many years, I’ve worked closely with big pharma, companies like Philips and the NHS and In my opinion this is absolutely abhorrent and extremely dangerous.

If course I understand why clinics have to be so careful with who they prescribe to and make sure that they do discharge people when necessary however there should be a procedure in place. People need to be responsibly and safely discharged.

Blocking a patients phone number and not even informing them that they have even been discharged is negligent.

Clinics need to do better."

That treatment is crazy behaviour 😳 share your similar story to help patients avoid this clinic.
