Questions About Film Grants UK

We've very recently moved our production from Europe to London, UK. In October we're filming a low budget feature, a fun sci-fi thriller. A local friend told me to check out any film grants supporting features.

We're three partners, only one of us lives in london and he's American. But we're currently attaching locals. Any tips on a specific film fund would be appreciated. Thanks.

Looking for A Contract

We have lawyers attached. For the sake of research if someone has a contract between a producer and a director I'd be happy to take a look. We're going to partner up and make a feature. Thanks.

Tips from A Retired Youtube Engineer

I recently had an interesting discussion with a youtube specialist, a retired engineer that worked in the field. Following his advice I changed several things and wanted to share with you:

First, I uploaded my film again, to refresh the algorithm and hope it shares the film to a larger audience organically.

Second, I was fussier about the thumbnail. In the former upload all you saw was the actor looking distraught, in the same alley. But the engineer urged me to find a better frame that encapsulates more elements of my film. I scoured through the material until I found a split of a second where the vacuum is shown behind the actor. A crucial element in the story.

Third, to make sure the hour of the upload is relevant to my audience. So for example if I’m uploading for people in London, to make sure it’s evening over there. Or evening in New York, etc. This also affects the algorithm.

Hope this helps.
