Personal Divestment

Many of the main companies that are popular to invest in are complicit in the genocide, as well as numerous other human rights violations. What is the best alternative? Are there specific investment funds or ways to invest that avoid these complicit companies?

What to do if you are unsure of a company

Books and materials for my college are most easily purchased through eCampus.com, since they have all of the products in one place. However I have not found anything about whether or not this is a safe company, as it is not on Disoccupied.com or Gaza.nu, and I cannot easily find anything about their investors or owners. All I can find is "Original investors of eCampus.com included Wendy's founder Dave Thomas, Long John Silver's founder James Patterson and George F. Valassis, creator of the free-standing insert which revolutionized the coupon industry." from their website (eCampus.com/about-us) and that "[Matt] Montgomery is one of a group of investors who purchased the company for $2.5 million in 2001" (https://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/industry-news/bookselling/article/68261-ecampus-continues-to-expand.html)

What should I do in a case like this where I am not sure about this company?

I am looking for brands that sell basic clothing items (like plain t-shirts, shorts, pants, socks, underwear) that are inexpensive, if possible. It seems like every major clothing brand is connected to Israel, and I have only seen a few alternatives listed on sites like Disoccupied, most of which seem to be on the more expensive side.

The two brands that seemed like possibilities that were listed as safe alternatives by Disoccupied were Honest Basics and Pact, but it seems that Honest Basics does not ship to the US anymore, and I saw comments saying that Pact has inconsistent quality. I know that thrifting is usually the safest option, but some clothing items I would only want to buy new for the sake of hygiene.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you!
