Been experimenting with creepy idle animations

Trying to make a fish-like creature idle that feels unsettling and unnatural through subtle movement and asymmetry.

Thoughts on how this one ended up looking?

Been experimenting with “corruption” animations

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a small animation test. I’ve been trying to make the transition feel unsettling while keeping the silhouette readable at a small scale.

Would love to hear your thoughts on it!

Hi everyone!

Over the past weeks, we’ve been gathering feedback from players on our Absym playtest, and we’ve just released a major update based on that.

We’ve reworked several aspects of the game, including visuals, gameplay feel, and enemy design, with the goal of improving overall clarity, responsiveness, and atmosphere.

It’s been incredibly helpful to see how players interact with the game, and this update is a direct result of that process.

We’d love to hear your thoughts!

Hey everyone!

We recently did a visual rework on Absym, our dark 2.5D action RPG.

We completely rebuilt the lighting system, focusing on stronger contrast between warm and cold tones to enhance atmosphere and readability. Alongside that, we improved texture detail and updated some environment models, including buildings and the pier shown in the clip.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the new look!
