Gold Oura Ring Color Question

I just bought a gold Oura ring 5 and it doesn’t seem to be a smooth gold color like I expected. It looks like it is speckled/has little dots. It reminds me of when hairspray gets dried on something and it leaves a weird speckle appearance. This is how it came out of the box. Is this normal for the gold color to appear? Please help! Need to know if I should exchange for a new one or if this is normal.

Return Question

I just bought an Oura ring 5 yesterday at Sam’s and after wearing it for the day I was leaning towards returning it as I didn’t realize there was a $5.99 monthly fee on top of the $500 dollar ring, but wanted to give it the month to try it out before making a decision. I get home today and my dog had gotten ahold of the box and destroyed it (she has NEVER chewed up anything before so this was a complete surprise). Everything had already been taken out of the box so all that was inside is completely new still. I feel devastated because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep it, will this prevent me from being able to return it as the original box has been destroyed? Please help!

SMILE movement

I did my SMILE procedure and on my right eye I think I had a slight movement and in the video that my partner took of the screen while I was having it done (the place I did it at allowed this), when the first circle goes across the eye while “looking at the green light” it looks like I had a slight movement and then the circle was extended out after that. Compared to my left eye, where there is no movement and the circle was completely circle for that first part, the right eye had a more oval shape due to the correction after slightly moving. What does this mean for me? Could this cause me any problems down the road? This was before the second portion of the circle started. If that makes any sense, just hoping to ease my nerves. Pictures included in comments for example.

Eye drops post SMILE

I am having SMILE done on Friday and was just looking to get some eye drops for after the procedure to help with the dry eye that people mention. I do have slight dry eye now before the procedure. Any recommendations?

Should I be using eye drops now to help my dry eye?

SMILE - contact protocol?

Hello,

I have my SMILE lasik procedure scheduled for August 14th. They told me I need to have my contacts out for 3 days before my procedure. This seemed much shorter than what I had heard online which was typically around a week. I tried doing research and got contradicting answers about if I should take them out and leave them out starting today (6 days before). One online resource said that I should only do the recommendation of 3 days as that is their protocol and it could affect the procedure due to an overcorrection of my cornea and could distort their data and another that says leaving them out longer will be better to help my cornea stabilize. I just want to make sure everything goes right as I am very nervous. Does anyone have any guidance for me for this?

I am 26 and have been wearing contacts since 11 years old, never have worn glasses just have always been in contacts. -3.50 in left eye and -3.75 in right eye without astigmatism. I have a little dry eye.
