Winback Offers

Previously for Winback Offers, Fido/Rogers would charge an Activation Fee of $80 upfront, which was then rebated as a Bill Credit of $5 over 16 months.

The complaints were that this was essentially "forcing" people into a Contract, as if you left before the 16 months was up, you would forfeit the rebate.

Now that Fido/Rogers cannot charge Activation Fees anymore, I'm curious to know how the Winback Offers are being presented these days.
