Hello! i wasnt sure where to post this but,
im going to new york for the first time in 2 days, and i am a huge music lover.

i love a variety of music and i am wondering if anyone knows any attraction type things that are specific to a music artists/band? i enjoy any sort of alternative music.

i dont mean venues etc to enjoy music, but for example, in manchester theres the smiths iron bridge, in LA theres an elliott smith wall, or some people visit music video locations

id be here for hours listing specifc artists i like, but genre wise, i love industrial music, alternative, shoegaze, metal, alt rock, triphop, basically anything alternative.
my favourite bands are nine inch nails, TOOL. type o negative (i know about peter steeles memorial), deftones, elliott smith

i dont wanna miss on any opportunities so if anyone knows of any cool places to visit (also scheduled to visit elliott smiths old apartment) id appreciate suggestions :)

im going to my first genitorurers concert in september (im 17, but will be freshly 18 by the time of the concert) but have never been to a concert alone before, firstly im a little skeptical about going alone, especially because of the travel

but theres also the possibility that one of my parents may try to come, which is a HARD NO given what things happen at a genitorturers concert 🤣

any advice on how to convince my parents to let me go alone without directly saying that they cant come because the genitorturers are a very bdsm obsessed band….?

and also how have other people found the concerts solo? :)

Curious to what people think! initially, when the album first arrived, my favourites were cXz, and ecdysis. But now, i cant stop listening to departing the body, infinite source and ~metal dream!!
