Seeking advice

I've been hunting artifacts for about 5 years now but I still consider myself a novice as I have only found a few points. All of my finds have come from very shallow creeks here in North Central FL/Gainesville area, so walking/digging in creeks is the only method of hunting that I know.

I want to learn other methods so that I'm not limited to creeks only around here bc I'm pretty sure my property and surrounding properties should be good hunting of I knew how to approach them.

In 2014, just a 1/2 mile from my house, a dugout canoe was found in a lake bed when the lake was drying up in a drought. I only live about 15 miles from Newnans Lake in Gainesville. (Just mentioning this bc it should give a better idea of my location. Newnans Lake area was a major hub for Native American activity and commerce for thousands of years.)

So here in FL were in a major drought and the lake I live on is about 2 weeks away from being bone dry. I have been walking the lake bed shoreline looking but haven't had any luck. There were a lot of lily pads in my lake so there's a lot of dried up muck that needs to clear before I can get a good view of the sandy beach.

So I have included a screenshot of my property and my lake as well as its relation to the lake that the dugout canoe was found in a half mile away from me and I was wondering if maybe some more experienced hunters could take a look at it and give me any advice on where I could maybe start hunting. And I'm open too whatever kind of hunting if I need to dig holes and scrape walls then that's what I need to do just looking for any advice as to where to start doing stuff like that. Anyways thanks for the help in advance.

Cardinals

Cardinals doing their cardinal things.

Funny how the female keeps picking up small rocks then spitting them out. I'm assuming she's checking to see if they're edible but idk.

First time grower of Shishito peppers. Looks like it's going to be a heavy producer.

Is that typical of Shishitos?

I'm trying to show the amount of flowers that are on a single plant but it's hard to get all the flowers in the image. But if I had to guess I'd say there's probably 25 to 30 flowers and and a handful of peppers that are already a couple inches long.

All they're only a foot tall.

I know this era of bottles aren't the oldest or the coolest of finds, but I really like the character that they had. The numerous unique bottle designs and the seemingly endless brand names of cola/soda back then is intriguing.

(I did post this on my FB bottle group as well so if you're in that group and seeing this twice, my apologies)
