iI'm hoping this is the right forum to post this.

I'm going to university in the fall and will be studying in a STEM major (very biology and chemistry heavy), and will be getting a new Macbook and iPad over the summer, probably both airs.

I'm not too sure which storage options I should be buying because I want this to last all 4 years of my undergrad, but also don't want to buy something that I don't necessarily need (too much storage) since the storage upgrades are a couple hundred bucks each, and it will add up in the end, especially with apple care and the accessories I will need to go along with these 2 things.

i am starting to plan my courses for the fall and winter and was wondering how electives work.

i found 2 electives that i am able to take with my program, one runs in the fall and one runs in the winter. on my program's academic calendar on guelph's website, it says that the only space i have outside of my main courses for the fall semester is room for my liberal education elective. though, the one i want to take happens during the winter semester.

am i able to take my liberal education elective during the winter semester or do i HAVE to take it during the fall semester (meaning i would need to choose another one to take) -- also, do i choose all my courses for the year at once or do i do it different times for each semester (one set time for fall semester and one set time for winter semester)?
